Remarks
I enrolled into JNEC because everything seemed good about this college. the infrastructure is great and its always clean. placements are great for IT/CSc and good for mechanical. The cultural events are the best best thing about this college. A new program called TEDEx JNEC is also started there which is great. teaching faculty is also good. bad aspects for me were 75% attendence is mandatory. Also they lack in providing practical knowlege when I was studying. but now they have started a new cell for that too. So overall its an amazing college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was a little outdated for BAMU university but now MGM have become a university itself so now its updated I guess. Faculty is good many are PhD holders and ME graduates. Teaching methods are upgraded, use of projectors is common there.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from 3rd year. but mostly it depends on the companies. campus placemets are very good for CSE/IT almost 100%. Comapny with 7lac/per annum pakages and 3. 5lac and 2lac for Mechanical its a bit low packages.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In MGM's JNEC fees structure is very high around 1 lakh for BE now its increased too because it has become a university. but scolarships were available for sc/st and for open too. Job on campus is not available.
Campus Life
Social life is great for students. There are many clubs availabe, dance groups are famous in JNEC, many technical events are held and sports are given equal importance if you are interested. They have a big ground. Library is pretty big they also provide books semester wise for students.
