Remarks

The main motive behind taking admission in this college was nothing but to gain proper management knowledge and to get placed in best organisation a with good package. Also, faculties and colleagues are so co-operative and I am getting exposure as well. After I decided, the most important part was to get enrolled into this college. So, first of all, I filled the application form wherein I was asked to provide my CAT score and marks in undergraduate. I did as per the requirements, then on the basis of my marks, I was shortlisted to appear in GD and PI rounds and based on my performance, I was given admission offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum of MBA in Marketing involves core management subjects and elective subjects in both the years. Also, special emphasis on marketing management and industry internship of 3 months is mandatory for all of us. The course curriculum is designed to prepare us for entrepreneurship, marketing management, consulting, strategic management, operations management and so on. Further, our faculties through their lectures and training sessions impart management knowledge both practically and theoretically. They also follows module based teaching and apart from that, they provide us study material before each trimester, help us in projects and assignments. And above all, they take extra classes to enhance our personality, managerial skills, decision making ability before placement session.

Placement Experience

4.5

The campus recruitment is the most important task of the placement cell. They actively work hard to get each of us placed in top companies. So, till now I haven't appeared in any placement drive and I have completed my first year now. But I know the recruiting companies that had visited our campus last year. So, they are Axis Bank, ITC, Aditya Birla, Zomato, HCL, Apollo, Future Group, HDFC Bank and others. Previously, 32 lakhs is the highest package bagged by my senior. However, the average package offered is 6-7 lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee I paid for pursuing MBA in marketing is 6 lakhs excluding hostel and food charges. Moreover I didn't pay the whole amount at a time instead I paid it in installments. Also, our college has scholarship schemes for those belonging SC,ST, OBC categories, J & K students and other minorities. Since I didn't fulfilled any of the criterion, I couldn't get the scholarship.

Campus Life

4

My college believes in learning by doing and this is the reason they keep on organising events throughout the year besides classroom learning, training and industrial visits. So, out of numerous events I am going to discuss a few events which I like the most are Chitkara T20 which is cricket tournament, Fresher's party, farewell party, convocation day, and celebration of festivals. Also, our college has different clubs where we are encouraged to join as per our interest. Since I have interest in signing, I joined the music club. However, there are also, dance club, drama club, literary club, photography club and other clubs as well.

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.
