My Experience at IAGI

The overall infrastructure of our college, on-campus placement ratio, events, highly qualifications of faculties and other facilities made me to take admission in this college. The admission process of my college is quite easy but it depends on the course we choose like I am pursuing BBA and for this program my marks obtained in 12th was considered for the admission.And yes, one of my cousin stays in Bangalore so, I decided to shift there and was looking for the colleges. Further, my cousin told me about this college and I visit the official website, read all the details and finally applied for it.

I am from commerce background and this is the reason I chose to pursue BBA and this college of course as it got thorough information about it and after getting admission as well I realized it is quite awesome than what I read in its official website. The best thing is that we are taken to the industrial visit, taught as per the global perspective that is how to work in diverse fields, analytical and critical thinking capacity are developed through training and other sessions conducted by industrial leaders. Apart from core faculty, the visiting faculty from industry and business organizations often visit our campus to enrich our knowledge and to make us aware of the corporate field.

The placement of my college is quite satisfying as compared to other colleges in the city. The companies that visit our college for recruitment are Toyota, IBM, Cognizant, Tata consultancy and other recruiters across the country. Also, training sessions are conducted to get selected in on-campus placement. However, the highest package that has offered till date is 6 LPA and the average package of 3 LPA for various posts. However, most of the jobs offered are from sales and marketing, BFSI, finance and accounting and other sectors. Post completing the BBA, I have decided to continue with my studies and pursue MBA program.

The course fee of the program I opted for i.e. BBA, I paid Rs. 70000 lakh for the first year that for 3 years, the total fee is 2.1 lakh. Yes, our college has scholarship provision for meritorious students like those who score highest marks in first semester or second semester and other kind of scholarships are also available for girl studens. However, didn't avail the opportunity since I could not fulfil any of the criteria. Moreover, the scholarship of Rs. 100000 is given for 1 year of time duration.

In our college, celebration of Rajyotsava Day, Teacher's Day, Saraswati Puja are done. Apart from that, curricular activities in the literature club, films & theatre club, takes place oftenly due to which I could embrace my overall personality and recognized the hidden talent in me. Also, we have seminar and lecture halls, library with stocked volumes, titles, journals, and magazines, campus with WiFi connectivity, these all facilities and activities made the campus life best and reasons to create memories here.
