Remarks
The admission process was portfolio-based. I was transferring from MIT ID, so I did not have to go through a design aptitude test, as I had already completed my first year at the MIT Institute of Design
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course simply because of its seamless, extensive structure and the brilliant faculty members ecole had. The student-to-faculty ratio is pretty good as a class generally has around 20-25 students. The faculties are leading industry practitioners, so their knowledge of the subject is up to date and vast. The assessment is based upon the submission of assignments, project weeks, and portfolio jury.
Internships Opportunities
I got an international internship with alfalfa studio where I was paid a stipend of $400 a month. studios such as ABND, Landor, Saatchi & Saatchi, SMDB hired students from my batch. The internship was extremely rewarding for me as I got to work on a sports personality branding projects for international footballers.
Placement Experience
The placements in the college are pretty good. for my second year internship, I got the opportunity to intern with alfalfa studio new york, headed by Rafael Esquer who's the creator of huge identities such as the Huston Rockets and the New York City FC. The internship was an extremely awarding experience. The college has tie-ups with local design studios as well. Each and every student from my batch had secured a paid internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are around 6 lakhs per annum They have on-campus placements. Even internship opportunities are provided by the college itself. The college admin department helped us through our internships these two years in spite of the pandemic.
Campus Life
The campus life is great, you meet a lot of like-minded people here. There are different student clubs for different activities. The annual fest this year was Ekhel. which was a gaming fest that went very well. The location of the college is in the heart of the city.
