The admission process was simple. You have to just contact the college and u will get the admission procedure. The reason for preferring this college over others is the lack of money to study in famous colleges where fees exceed 1.5 lakhs. Admission criteria were that your marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics should be higher than 60.

I chose BTech CSE because I have an interest in studying everything related to computer science. The faculty-student ratio is 1:38. Qualification of faculty is PhD in their respective subject. Some teachers are too good at teaching whereas some are not up to the mark. Term exams take place after every 45 days. If you even have a basic knowledge about each unit in each subject, you can pass easily.

Some seniors were offered internships in TCS with a stipend of 15000 per month for two months. Some other companies also offer internships to the students here. Projects include web development, app development, etc. with an acquired outcome.

I have no such information about campus placements. After 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placements (I think so). My plans after getting the degree would be to search for a good company with a good payout. I also thought that I would be taking the IES examination but as I am a student of CSE so I won't be able to apply for it.

The cost to study here is 1,04,900 per year. As I am not a citizen of Roorkee so I stay in a hostel which costs 60000 per year including mess charges. I have no information in regards to scholarship or any financial assistance.

Utkarsh and freonz are two fests that are conducted in the month of April. Maximum course books are available in the library. Classes are comfortable but the duration of each lecture(i.e. 55 mins) feels so long and it becomes hard for us to focus on studies for the whole lecture. Sports facilities are available on the campus such as volleyball, basketball, cricket, badminton, etc.

The hostel consists of three types of rooms based on your affordability. There are 3 beds in the room which costs 60000/yr, 2 beds in the room which costs 70000/yr(plus cooler), and 2 beds and an A.C. in the room which costs 80000/yr. Everything else like table, chair, and almirah are common in every room. The meal quality is not too good. The menu includes daal, sabzi, rice, chapati, and pickle. The registration process for the hostel takes place at the time of admission. According to the cost, rooms are affordable for a middle-class family.
