Remarks

Management was just superb having great supervision overall it was a great place to live in. I would recommend it to everyone.

Entrance Preview

It was local entrance exam conducted by university i passed it with 82% marks i chose it because my cousin was already there.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was the requirement of that time. I did it because I had deep interest in geography.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah it did not for our department but for others like engineering students. Companies like wipro, videocon brought there BPOs. Many students joined them.

Placement Experience

5

It was well planned many students got there job some of them I am still in contact with. They have achieved higher places in there respective fields.

College Events

5

It was fun to be a part of any type of celebration there. Annual function was the best event. Friends fun and entertainment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee I don't really know because it was a department held by my parents solely. My dad used to visit the university often sometimes twice in a week. He had all the knowledge of the fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't receive any sort of such things however there were some.

Campus Life

4.5

On that occasion there was no co education system only boys were there in the campus and it was quite fun to be there anytime.

Hostel Facilities

4

I would say it was average rooms were not that comfortable but we managed. Food facility was good however we used to go out of the premises often to have more tasty and favorite dinner by bunking.

Alumni/Alumna

There was not much interaction with them except a few ones it was just for having company.

Exam Structure

It was divided in to semesters we got enough time to prepare during the exams. There was a bit tension which is spontaneous for any sort of exam.

Faculty

5

The faculty was quite qualified it was fun to attend class practical classes were more interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is very easy for me to take decision to choose this course because in other universities i failed in pratical examination, and that is why I have to take admission in this university .The curriculum preparation is only needed to be 2-3 mouth only,The areas for improvement in the is faculty members should change, instuments should be repaired, and one auditorium should be there, teachers should be try to get better from students. The frequency and timing of exam is perfect, ther announced there examination date before 2 mouth, the level of exam is moderate

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm currently persuing BA(hons) Geography from Faculty of Arts. I had interest in geography since class 10. Therefore, I chosen this course. Curriculum doesn't prepare us, we have to prepare ourselves. My suggestion would be that some more younger professors need to be there. Exams are generally easy and their cycle is also good

Amity University, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)
Reviewed on Nov 15, 2024(Enrolled 2018)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.
