Remarks

All over the college is good in academics, food, structure, extracurricular activities , facility, maintenance,.,etc. But the internal structure is not good enough no modern technology is used no chairs and desks of good conditions are used.

No my college does not provide any type of internship in college himself. placement is also not so good but yes if we look around all the colleges in merrut than the placement is quite well, and job apportinies are depends on particular to particular if you score well you have a scope of getting a good job

College Events

1.5

Event are some times celebrated and some times not in my college and if any festival is celebrated it was just a formality no one really cares about that, no decorations, no performance , no games nothing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I didn't remember exactly but it has to be in between 10,000 to 30,000 Which we have to give every year at the time of the submission of the form ,scolorship criteria is also there for those who scores outstanding performance in academics

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan facility was offered by my collede we have to submit our fees before the college starts for every new session or before every new year starts.scholarship criteria is for those who gave an outstanding performance in academics in class 12 or in the college

Campus Life

3

The are quite good as it is government college and we all know the difference between a government college and a private college, private colleges are quite good in all this in compare to government college

Alumni/Alumna

Yes senior student are helping and supportive sometimes but sometimes they are not they just believe in ragging and hurting there juniors not all senior do that to there juniors but some are always ther not only in my college but in every college

Admission

I got admission in college by merit list based on 12 percentage t before that i have to fill online admission form for the university and have to select 3 colleges among the all and then if my name came in the merit i just have to go there and fill a form

Faculty

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement. |

I'd rate BA Hons English curriculum at BHU 4.5/5. Strengths: comprehensive literature coverage, language skills development, and critical thinking. Weaknesses: limited focus on contemporary literature and digital humanities. Prepares well for academics, writing, and teaching careers.

The sociology course teaches me the norms of our society and family we live in. This course will provide a vast knowledge about the society and culture and this made me to choose this course. The time given is enough to complete the course and to understand it . The exams are conducted after every six months so the difficulty level is moderate.

Amity University, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)
Reviewed on Nov 15, 2024(Enrolled 2018)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
