Remarks

Education system is very good. Management provide necessary funds when students got a project idea. Teachers are motivational. They play a vital role in grooming the professional career of students. Overall its wonderful being studied in Kamaraj college of engineering and technology. Lot of importance is given for discipline and good college for one who is interested in Biotechnology.

Entrance Preview

I took TANCET examination and I got engineering cutoff of 175 and based on my cutoff I got option for B.Tech Biotechnology or BE EEE. I choose B.Tech Biotechnology.

Course Curriculum Overview

Biotech lab facilities are good staffs are very knowledgeable gain lots of hands on experience and did mini project in third year.

Internships Opportunities

There are lot of projects funded by government. There us no internship program but one can choose the project guide who got funds for their final year project.

Placement opportunity is good. Many companies come for on campus to our college.

We have Annual Sports Meet, Tech o fest a cultural event, alumini get to gether, Graduation Day.

Fee structure is feasible. It costs rs 65000 per year.

I haven't availed any loans scholarship is provided to students with very good cutoff or from poor background.

Alumni network is very helpful to know what current trends in biotech industry. Alumni provide support by taking part in alumni events and share their work experience.

Exams are conducted by Anna University and there are 8 semester in tot.

Faculty are well experienced and there are many Ph.D works going and have projects funded by government.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

About My University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I influenced by my friends who joined in this course ,later on I adjusted with it ,the curriculum prepares students in which they are capable to understand in their own way with which they build up projects and expos and many more events conducted by the other collages to participate in it. It is a tough situation to deal with it because the minimal gap between the sessionals is 1.5 month so for students it a stress to cover the syllabus of all subjects and with project works etc.

Because, this college is located in my district and it has good overall view and prescriptive from everywhere. I got confirmed admission at loyala Chennai . My parents chose this because it's near and safety . In management quota, there is not much eligibility needed like high scores .
