Course Curriculum Overview

5

Relevance: 8/10 - Strengths: - Covers foundational concepts thoroughly - Includes industry-relevant topics like AI, Data Science, and Cyber Security - Encourages project-based learning - Weaknesses: - Some outdated topics (e.g., outdated programming languages) - Limited focus on emerging technologies (e.g., Blockchain, IoT) Comprehensiveness: 7.5/10 - Strengths: - Covers a broad range of subjects within the discipline - Includes practical labs and workshops - Emphasizes soft skills development - Weaknesses: - Some electives lack depth or are too theoretical - Limited interdisciplinary connections Suggestions for improvement: 1. Update curriculum regularly to reflect industry trends 2. Increase focus on emerging technologies and research-oriented projects 3. Enhance interdisciplinary collaborations 4. Incorporate more industry expert lectures and workshops 5. Provide flexible electives to cater to diverse student interests Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more emphasis on cutting-edge technologies and interdisciplinary approaches.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship opportunities is offered for each and every sem end for all years of students . It does not comes with stipen but it gives us lots of knowledge to learn and it's so useful to develop projects and also for placements

Placement Experience

5

In 6th semester , our students become eligible for campus placements . Companies like Zoho , HCl , Amazon , solaritis , cognizant comes to our college but they took only 5 to 10 per session . Highest package I have know is 5lakhs per month and average is 35k per month . The percentage of students getting placements is like 98 percentage at the end of the college mostly everyone gets placed but not in high package . My plans is to study printing technology after this to take over my father's business

Fees and Financial Aid

Hi , In my college , the fees structure for management quota is 1,19,000 and for counselling it's 85000 , in third year and final years they're providing honours course for that fees for one paper is 2000 . they are also providing many scholarships of governments like if the family has two girls , they have avail the scholarship

Campus Life

5

Our college conducts techofest and it's so fun to us to participate and to enjoy . They also conduct celebrations for Pongal , kamaraj bday . We have access to take books in library to study . Our library is big and they have all kind of books . We have projectors in each and every class . I'm a volleyball player , I love to play vb and it's so happy to get trained by my clg coach .we also have clubs like rotory , photography etc

Admission

Because, this college is located in my district and it has good overall view and prescriptive from everywhere. I got confirmed admission at loyala Chennai . My parents chose this because it's near and safety . In management quota, there is not much eligibility needed like high scores . The eligibility is just pass mark in 10 12 and for counselling is upon the government. The cutoff I had 145.5 it's good only . But we entered with management quota

Faculty

Faculty-to-Student Ratio: The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:15, which I feel is ideal for personalized attention. Faculty-Student Relationship: The faculty-student relationship is cordial and supportive. Professors encourage interactive learning, provide guidance beyond academics, and are approachable. Favorite Faculties: 1. Mr. Senthil Kumar (CSE Dept.) - His teaching style, patience, and willingness to clarify doubts make complex concepts easy to grasp. 2. Dr. Vijaya Lakshmi (ECE Dept.) - Her industry experience and real-time examples make lectures engaging. 3. Ms. Nalini (Maths Dept.) - Her clarity and concise explanations helped me build a strong foundation.. Faculties I Didn't Like: (I'd rather focus on the positives, but one faculty member I struggled with was) 1. Mr. Raghu (Physics Dept.) - His teaching style was too theoretical, making it hard to connect with practical applications. Exams: We have 2-3 internal exams and 1 external university exam per semester. Difficulty level varies, but generally, they're moderate. Pass Percentage: Approximately 80-90% of students clear exams in the first attempt. Course Curriculum Relevance: The curriculum is mostly relevant, with updates incorporating industry trends. However, some subjects feel outdated.

Night Life

1

Gym is accessible to hostelers . They have separate gym for boys and girls. In center of college , they have print shop . Hostel timing is like girls should not come out after 6 . For boys , no restrictions . And no one in hostel is allowed to go out . Only Sunday , boys can go out . Boys go out to nearby eating shops . Left we have one big famous hotel named Burma and after some distance going in right towards vnr . You can see kfc , oyalo so on

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.
