It has great automobile competing team that participates at National and international events. It has great placement . The cultural events are flashy. SRM had great accreditation as well. The Courses they offer and the diversified field one can opt as an optional subject . The renowned faculties who have achieved a lot are also part of the Institution. SRM has had a great deal of alumni as well . The cultural and academic background and history were the ones to consider as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is diversified in multiple front , allows you to have a grasp over different fields and apply inputs through practical experiments. One can use the scope of understanding fairly for the projects as per one wishes to pursue a research and the faculty guidance is also there for the same.
Placement Experience
Placement is nice with 90 percent every year . The average package ranges from 4 to 5 LPA which is pretty decent . Multiple domains of company visit us and hence one has a lot of opportunities to go for.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 2.75 lacs every year and 1.1lacs for hostel and hence seems pretty high. Apart from this laundry and other expenses are also there . So ultimately it becomes one thing to care about through out the year.
Campus Life
Life of the college campus is one to remember . The night life and the cultural events are extreme in their regards . One gets all sort of exposure to express themselves. I enjoyed myself building 3 cars and competing with them against national and international teams.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are pretty congested but if the roomies are cooperative ,the life becomes easy. Meal was one of the things about which we all used to complain but yet used to be there as money was always used to be an issues. It was 1.1 lacs , pretty high.
