A Glimpse of the college

After my boards I immediately gave my UPSEE (AKTU) exam soon the results got declared, I passed with decent grades. I did online counseling and locked my choices. Luckily I got this college in round one itself. It was among my top 5 choices then I paid the seat locking fee and confirmed the college. The main reason behind this college specifically is that out of all the colleges in Lucknow it is the most rated college when it comes to private colleges. And BBDNIIT is a prominent college amongst the other colleges of BBD Educational Group. I got admitted and soon in August, the curriculum started. I was given a fabulous induction programme which was very motivating for students like us who just came to college. Also, the college was not very far thus, I joined as a day scholar.

I opted for the computer science branch, it is one of the most preferred branches these days. I choose this trade because I have a keen interest in coding. The curriculum started with common subjects along with one core subject in the first semester. Proper lectures were delivered by qualified faculties and lab experiences happened along with regular assessments for practice. For ratios, there was 1 faculty member over every 40 students. Any sort of updates in the curriculum decided by AKTU was immediately practiced in the college. After a month or so, we were asked to give feedback about our faculties and it was taken seriously as well. There were 2 internal exams before the final semesters. Everything was scheduled perfectly.

Our college offers both types of internship opportunities. Companies like Adobe, HCL, etc every year schedule programs for student internships along with good stipend values. A variety of projects and tasks are made during this interning period by the students. Mostly, students turn these internship opportunities into job offers eventually.

After 6th-semester students are allowed to sit in GDs and PIs. And students can sit in as many opportunities as they want to. Companies like Infosys, Oppo, Jaro are in regular tie-up with our college. Their campus drives are organized every year. The average package offered is 3-4LPA and the highest is 13LPA to date. 90% of students get placed during college placements in good companies with descent packages. I am also trying my best to get a good offer in my placement.

The fee structure is pretty affordable, it's about 1 lakh 13 thousand including caution money and other charges which are taken for once during the whole course. There are two types of scholarship aid offered by the college one is the up scholarship. There is a separate department made for all the aids and queries related to scholarship forms and other things. In a nutshell, 90% of students receive their scholarships. The other scholarship is given by the college to the meritorious students and for financially weak students. I have not been placed yet as I'm in my third year, but the previous batches are placed in product-based companies like Infosys with descent packages like 7LPA or more.

College life is no less than a dream, there are events happening every other month. And annually our college fest "UTKARSH" is celebrated like a festival. All the other colleges are invited to competing with each other. It is a 3-day fest followed by celebrity nights. There are a variety of events during this period, from coding to cultural, from GD to group dance, everything. There are distinct societies to join for students as per their interests and choices. We have societies like DYUTIMAN (The Literary Society), Neptune (Singing) etc. There are respective Facebook and Instagram accounts of all the societies in college.
