Remarks

It is the most popular university in Chennai. Studying at university gives me the opportunity to gain more knowledge so I had to choose. I do correspondence so I don't know about the placements. The correspondence admission process open in twice a year, i.e. Academic year (June to May) and Calendar year( January to December). I known about this university from their own website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course for my career development. In correspondence, the way teachers teach is excellent at their level, they clarify skepticism as well as they teach from exam perspective. They also treat their students in a good way. The term examination for calendar year students is in the months of June and December and for academic year students is in the months of November and April. The exams are sometimes very difficult, but we have the opportunity through the method of study.

Course Fees: INR 7450 per year

Placement Experience

Usually correspondence students do not have the opportunity to participate in on-campus placements. So I don't know about the placement structures. But I have a plan to write career-oriented exams like NET, SET.

Fees and Financial Aid

The University's fee system is reasonable and everyone can study at this cost. Like I said before I do correspondence so I don't know about the placements and job offers also don't know about scholarship details.

As a correspondence student, I have never encountered things like this. But for correspondence students, they offer a self-learning method on their website. The infrastructure of the premises is simple, elegant and well maintained.

I choose this course is I like chemistry in 12th standard so I taken . The curriculum was selected me by entrance exam, i can clear it . All are good, just teaching in more detail about topic. Not at all the exam timeing is correct to do exam.

Placements are not good literally since companies will offer only 3 lpa and below 20 % of the students only gets placed , generally students from 4 th semester are eligible for placements for geology students companies like RAMCO, some other cement industries and GIS based companies will recruit students based on their skill, I'm already working in Geophysical based company after completing my degree I will use that experience to get placed in top oil oriented company

The choosed this course as I have complete background of bachelor degree in Nutrition and was interested in doing community nutrition service where master degree would enrich me with the background knowledge to empower peoples with Nutrition knowledge.The faculty staffs have done their doctrate in food science and nutrition and are enriched with best modern teaching methods which guided and motivate to learn a lot about the field .The term exams where conducted as 2 internal exams each semester and 1 external exam .The course is for 2years so there are 4 external exams and 8 internal exams .The different lab enriched with current updated equipment help to learn more practically ,the lab setup included foods lab ,food testing lab , nutrition lab and physiology lab .The exams are easy to pass if you are 70 percent consistent on practical and theory papers .

My Honest Opinion

Placement Experience:

Last semester students can participate in the Campus placement.And also 2nd year students can also participate. Many companies will come for the placement camp.Like Infosys, Wipro and many other IT companies and also Fianance companies are offered for BBA students. Highest Salary Package is about 4LPA and average is about 1.2LPA. Minimum 60% of students gets placement. My plans to get a job in an IT company within this year.

Very much satisfied with the infrastructure, and we enjoy all things in our college life. Placements: Our course is information technology. Our class has 45 students. HCL, Omega, etc., come here. Overall, 35 students got internships in our course on QSpiders. They are offered a job as well. Infrastructure: Our department is located in a good place in our college. We like our department staff very much. They are very kind and good. Our favorite place is our lab. They have a good atmosphere. The classrooms are very neat.
