Remarks

I chose this college because of its brand name and the experience of the faculties. Also, I talked to the alums of the college and they gave me a decent review. IMT Nagpur is a student-driven college and this gave me a pump to join this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from the finance domain through IMT is famous for Marketing my personal interest in numbers. The facilities are well diversified and have vast experience. Most of the faculties have their post-graduation degree from colleges like XLRI and CFA holder. But they are few in number that's the con.

Course Fees: INR 12 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yeah, for internship companies do come but very few are for finance domain and also companies that come for marketing majority of them give the role of Business development associate and make them do cold call. The highest stipend was 15k and the lowest is Nil.

Placement Experience

So we become eligible in our 3rd semester for the placements. And the average package is around 7-8 LPA and around 90% of students were placed from the senior batch. The highest package offered was 13 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is 12 lakh for 2 years which include mess and charges like exam fee library fee and lab fee. The scholarship is given to that student who scores more than 90 percentile in competitive exams like CAT and XAT scholarship of 65%.

Campus Life

Campus life was one of the major reason to join this college, IMT Nagpur is known for the student-run ventures and all the bodies are driven by students only which give holistic development of an individual. There are many committees and forums like sports and placement com.

Hostel Facilities

So the facilities provided by the college are pretty decent. It's 2 seater room with 2 bed and 2 almirahs. A laundry service and mess. Mess is pretty good being in central it gave cuisine from north and south also.

Interview Experience

Yes, so the first hurdle was the written examination, I gave CAT and got shortlisted for the GD and PI. So after writing we have a GD in a group of around 10 people and after that a personal interview of around 15-20 minutes.

Very bad experience about this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

Balanced learning and real world relavance

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's well structured but there are areas that could be enhanced to better prepare students for the real world. Curriculum sessions are twice weekly, other faculty are invited to gain information from the industry. Recently, we had our ebek Cambridge exam. It was useful us to learn english for better knowledge gain.

Faculties are very good and supportive always ready to help. it is easy to connect any faculties between 9 am to 7 pm and most of faculty leave in campus. Faculty always encourage the student to take part in extracurricular activities. Medical Facilities is available 24*7. The admin staff is also supportive. The college organises Guest session which is good for students betterment.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
