Truth of CAHCET

C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology is a well-known and popular college in the Vellore district. It's a very old college. U can see the NBA, NAAC status of our college. It would be better to know before joining. I chose this college coz this is a Muslim college that I can pray there easily. Prayer is very important for Muslims so I don't want to miss any prayer. I went directly to get admission and got it. The admission Process is damn easy. I went in august 2019 middle of the month. Through a known person. It's very easy. The correspondent is seeing the marks and then he decides the fees. 85k is government quota fees. The same fees are from the management quota. Our college is like a school. daily uniform and Sunday only holiday. This is the only thing i hate in my college. When compared to another college in the district This is the best college.

I selected B.tech IT for two reasons. One is my own interest the name b.tech sounds better than b.e. And another reason is my friend was already selected and joined the course. For the IT department Faculty is less in numbers when compared to CSE. The IT department has only one section and CSE has TWO sections. Better to choose CSE if u planning to study in the computer field. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30 Faculties are well qualified and the teaching is amazing. The exam and test held often in our college. Every week there was a test. It's a headache every week. The Cumulative Assessment test known as CAT is held Every month. For the semester you have to write 3 CAT exams and 1 Model Exam. The test and exam are held at the correct time.

We do not provide free internships. only they provide is paid internship without a stipend. The company which provides are local companies. The internship is a waste. No proper teaching. No proper guidance. It's a waste.

Placement eligibility is for 7th-semester students. Campus Placement is very poor in our college. Don't expect campus placement is this college. 3 of 40 getting placement. Only students who r meeting the eligibility criteria are being sat in placements. 10% of students is placed. Moreover, we need skills then we can find jobs easily in off-campus. So try to be good at skills.

Fees is high in my point of view, Academic fees is 85,000. bus fees extra. The cost to study is like studying in a university. In MGR university the same fees. If you are the first to graduate your fees will be reduced to 60,000. You will get a government scholarship after joining if u meet the requirements. This college is not for campus placement. Maximum One or two companies visiting a year. Only a few got placed.

The Programs, clubs, fests are not much in our college. Yearly once very less programs are conducted. But seminars, webinars, competitions are being held once in two months. Our library has a huge amount of books and journals and a peaceful place to sit and study. From the second year onwards you will have a separate period of Library. Sports and Extra-Curricular activities are good u will get a chance to play. Our college has a Rotaract club, NSS, and a well-known SGC.
