Remarks

This College has Good Faculty Members and Good Placement Records. College has good Infrastructure and good academic excellence. MJCET is located in the center of the city. This college also consists of mosque for praying and the total college is covered with greenery and with environment. The canteen food is also Good, their is a full space for parking. Admission process is quite easy the student must carry his all his documents regarding him. It is the top minority college in Hyderabad. Faculty is good and they will clear all doubts and labs are also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course name is ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING, I have chosen this course because I had a interest in electrical engineering core side. Faculty of electrical engineering is good and they will teach very well. They also give advices for career. Some faculty members also teach according to Gate aspect. Some of the faculty are not good well experienced. Some are Associate Professors and Assistant Professors and only 2 professors are there for electrical engineering. Internal and lab exams are very strict. If we study well we can pass out easily. Problem solving is main criteria.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Off campus internships will be there students can explore and join the internships as per their interest. As a Electrical student I have completed my internship in Green olive control systems, Balanagar, Hyderabad in the field of industrial automation and servo application. And I have a designed a control panel for continuous monitoring of induction motor with plc and Scada. So many internship opportunities are available from some companies for example last year service now has offered a internship program for the MJCET students and many of the students are also got placed in service now with good salaries. If students wants to do internship in core side they must prefer off campus.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placement are offered to the students. After completion of third year students are eligible to the campus placements in the college. Companies such as Infosys, TCS, service now, Capgemini, tech Mahindra, XIT solutions, wipro etc are some of the companies that offer the jobs. Minimum package for the students is 3.5lakhs per annum and the package depends on the students stuff and technical knowledge and the package will entirely depends on student skills. Some of the students also got 6lakhs to 10lakhs per annum. Maximum CSE and IT students get placed because most of the companies are software only and some of the students from EEE, ECE, MECH and CIVIL are also got placed. In case their is a disadvantage for the core students. As a electrical student I will prefer GATE.

Fees and Financial Aid

Before 2020 fees was 85000/- and now the fees is 115000/- per year. Most of the students get scholarship and some of the students who took management seat they have to pay the fees per year. Lots of job opportunities will be there in software side. I have not been placed in any company because I am an electrical students and there are no placement opportunities in core side. And if any one is willing to go in software side then it's ok they will have a chance, but in core side it's difficult for getting a placement in college .

Campus Life

4.5

There are so many annual and tech fests in college and their is a full support from faculty for doing extra curricular activities. And there are some students bodies in which students can join according to their branch and enhance their skills like ROBOTICS, IEEE, HACKATHON, MECHATRONICS, MICROSOFT. Adsophos is the main fest in the year that is conducted in February. MJCET library is one of the biggest library, it consists of many books and journal's, a lot of place to sit and read the books. We can take those books to home also no issues after we have to return. There is a ground in campus for various games and so many tournaments are also held and winning teams also compete with others college teams in Hyderabad level. Rock garden, botanical Garden is also there .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There is no hostel in the campus, the students must have to stay in private hostels or in rooms at near by locality. If you stay any where in Hyderabad minimum monthly expenditure will be around 6000/- per month because there is no campus hostel facility. As there is no hostel better to take a room with friends and stay that will be good option.

Admission

I am a diploma student, after completion of Diploma i had given a entrance exam TSECET and got a good rank and I got a seat in MJCET.

In convener qouta so i have no chance to choose branch or college . If i have a chance to change college defintly i will .In this college first the mindset of the founder, director should change from school pattern to college pattern and they should focus on college implementation not in students personal issues .The exams will happen after every 4 months in between 2 months internals will be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
