Remarks

The good aspects of my college are cooperative teachers who are experts in their respective fields, good number of seminars and talks delivered by market leaders. This gives a good knowledge about the current market and skills needed to excel. Teachers are ready to help at any point of time, along with this there will be lots of activities to get rid of your hesitation. The admission process started with the commencement of the MAT exam then I filled in the name of my college while filling form when the results were out I got a call from my colleagues asking me the scores I got for which I submitted my scorecard and I scored 92.4 percentile for which on the next day I was told that I am eligible for GD and Personal interview. After qualifying which I got shortlisted in the month of may my process was completed in the month of may only. The reason i chose this college over others was any of my friends have already completed their PGDM and are well settled.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I was from an engineering background in computer science and engineering so this course was completely new to me so I cannot go for specific PGDM like PGDM in retail marketing or PGDM in financial services. So I opted for general PGDM. The faculty-student ratio is one teacher on 50 students. Which is a good number as this gives the teacher a good chance to keep a watch on the students. Since I have taken admission there is a pandemic in our country so the classes are mostly in online mode but the duration of the class is 1 hour 30 minutes which is enough time to explain and discuss the concepts. The faculty members are quite knowledgeable in their respective fields as most of them are Ph.D holders. The teaching method is very different as most of the courses are based on a practical approach and also here there is a trimester system so there are three final exams in one year. The exams are a good chance to test our knowledge and the question paper is of standard level.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The companies for internship are like axis bank, HDFC bank, Amul, Gyan, ITC, careers 360, Khaitan, Ultratech cement, Asian paints, Big Bazaar, Big Basket, Bajaj capital limited there were products of business development, financial analyst, sales trainee, HR consultancy, Operations, etc. These projects are given to give the students exposure of the real-world environment in the field which they have opted for.

Placement Experience

3.5

The fifth trimester is the time when we can sit for placements, there is a long list of companies that visit our college like HUL (Hindustan Unilever), HDFC bank, Axis bank, ITC, Amul, Nestle, Pris cement, Asian paints, ultratech cement, Deloitte, Aditya Birla fashion and retail, United colors of Benetton, HCL, Tata motors, JK tires and many more with an average package of 6.49 lacs per year and the highest going till 18 lacs per year. 95 % of the students are placed. I have planned to take placements from my college in a reputed company which gives opportunities to learn and offer a good carrier growth.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the total course is Rs. 1025000 which includes all the things except hostel and mess. in total, the fees are taken in six installments which could be paid through DD, IMPS, NEFT, or net banking. We were offered a uddy4study scholarship from HDFC and also a scholarship which was from our college. The scholarship offered by our college was on the basis of MAT scores. The internships are offered to almost everyone except those who don't want to do fro college but internships managed on their own. We are fortunate that this time we will be given a faculty-driven program also along with the internships. This will give us a lot of market exposure

Campus Life

3.5

There were several events in the span of one year such as Ojas in the month of January the annual cultural fest and Mashaal the annual sports fest there were more events like cooperate war, debates which were a great opportunity for us to have exposure and take part in the events which are of our interest. We have a huge library with proper seating arrangement the college makes sure that there is silence in the library. We are given the books of our courses in every trimester without charging anything extra. Along with this, we could spend as much tie as we want in the library reading stuff. The classrooms are big and air-conditioned with comfortable seating.. We can play all sorts of sports like football, hockey, volleyball, cricket table tennis, etc there is an activity area in which there is a table tennis table is placed and students are free to use it. There are any Committees like a cultural committee, discipline committee, placement committee, sports committee.

Interview Experience

4

There was a GD after which we have to give PI. Which was a great experience. The interview was a good experience in terms of the work we have done in the past or the studies we have completed. We were asked about the concepts that we have studied, with this the topic we got was use of English as a spoken language in the Indian education system. GD was conducted in groups of eight persons along with one faculty member to judge. I read the latest news of last one year which made me confident about the current important events. Worked on my communication skills by practicing regularly.
