Remarks

IMT Nagpur was the best college from the options i had. I had options like bimtech, welingkar, nmims Banglore. Imt Nagpur has a great brand name, it's the 2 colleges of the IMT family. Lush green beautiful campus, great faculties, good exposure, great campus life, great placements The placements could improve no doubt, but it is quite good now.

Course Curriculum Overview

Imt Nagpur follows the Harvard curriculum which gives quite a good exposure. Faculties are experienced and great in teaching. The student ratio is around 1:1, Many faculties are PhD holders and have great experience in corporate. We have 6 terms in total, 3 terms in a year. If you give proper attention in class, you can clear your exams.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide internships. Few companies like Danik Bhaskar, Crisil, Paytm, byjus etc and startups like we innovate etc. Roles offered are business development, operations intern, digital marketing, marketing intern etc.

Placement Experience

The placements are good. It can be improved but yes it is quite good. The median salary is around 7-7.5 lakhs. From 4th term placements, the season starts. Around 90-92% of the batch gets placed. The average package is around 7-7.5 lakhs The highest is around 18 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are 12.1 lakhs in total including mess and hostel fees. There are many scholarships given to the students. College also provides internships to so the students with and without stipend depending on the company.

Campus Life

Life on campus is great. Imt Nagpur is a student driven campus where are the committees' forums ventures are driven and managed by students. We have a great library which has a number of options for books and generals. The classroom is equipped with Ac, projectors, mic and speakers. There's always some or the other activities going on in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Bed, table and chair, almirah, windows. The mess of IMT Nagpur is one of the best mess in India. Hostel and mess in inside the campus. There's no registration as such. As you enter the college, you are provided with a room.

Interview Experience

I faced a group activity where we were given some stationery items and a topic, and we had to prepare a promotion campaign. Personal interview was all around my previous work ex and general questions including some hr questions.

Currently I am in first year so I have not been placed as of yet but the placemnets for our seniors is on going which is the first batch of MBA HCM and hence I would not be able to reveal the cokmpanies. The few summer internship companies though were Apollo, Nanavati, BMJ etc.

First green B-School in India

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem. Good Aspects - 1) Quality Mess with edible food. We have a day each in a week of egg and chicken biryani respectively. 2) One of the best Learning and Resource Centers in the country. It's a state-of-the-art centre with lakhs of books which caters to all your curiosity and explanation.
