Remarks

I chose this college because of its brand name and it's a very old reputed college. I have talked to alumni of the college and based on that I took my decision. And faculties are well diversified and have vast experience this is one of the major reasons to choose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are very well diversified and having vast experience makes the pedagogy of very high level. And IMT Nagpur is known for its marketing and it's quite well with that. Every three months we have our exam and it's easy to pass but difficult to be the topper because of the competition.

Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yeah, companies come up with internships but the problem is with finance, very few companies come up with an internship for a finance domain. Most of the companies offer nil stipend but there are companies also with offer stipend of 15-20k per month. Major roles are BDE and marketing intern .

Placement Experience

Placements at IMT is like in any other tier 2 college with an average of around 7 lpa. Students are eligible from their 3 semesters, most of the companies for Marketing come up with sales profile which is pathetic because students don't spend 12 lakh rupees for sales. The percentage of the student getting placed is around 90%

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fees include hostel and mess charges. And talking about scholarship if someone scores more than 90 percentile in cat examination. He/she can avail 65% scholarship. Also, the fees include charges like the library and of different labs.

Campus Life

Yeah, life at IMT Nagpur is quite happening and the tagline of IMT is that "IMT Never Sleep". Students never sleep in the morning they go to their respective classes and after that, they have to work with their committees and forums they are in. IMT is totally student-driven body. They have sports com place com , alumni com, and for every work students are responsible. So it's fun and holistic development of the student is there.

Hostel Facilities

Yes In IMT Nagpur hostels are compulsory. There is a double seater room with two almirah and two beds. The common washroom is available and the hostels are quite big. And the mess door is also ok, not very good not very bad.

Interview Experience

Yes, there was a group discussion along with an interview and written exam. First of all, you have to clear the written exam after that if you get shortlisted then you have appear for GD and personal interview. I prepare for those rounds through my coaching center.

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem. Good Aspects - 1) Quality Mess with edible food. We have a day each in a week of egg and chicken biryani respectively. 2) One of the best Learning and Resource Centers in the country.
