Remarks
Overall personality development was good at the campus. Placements were decent given the COVID impact. The admission process was quite a smooth Cut-off, GDPI, and was offered a 75% academic fee waiver based on XAT & CMAT percentiles. Was very confused between KJSIMSR PGDM-Core and IMT Nagpur PGDM-Core. Spoke to a few alums of both the colleges and decided based upon the ROI. A Guy helped a lot in clearing many admission-related queries & confusion.
Course Curriculum Overview
The quality of the faculty was really good apart from a few exceptions. Exams were all pretty good and easy if you focus during the lectures and note down the important points. They have a special component called AOL - Assessment of learning which is pretty interesting since all questions were case-based.
Internships Opportunities
There are 2 ways through which one can obtain internships from the campus: 1. Official Placements from the Placements Committee 2. Voyage - Startup internship fair Apart from these 2 ways, one can always approach their corporate connections, LinkedIn, Naukri.com, etc
Placement Experience
The placements have minimum eligibility criteria of 4.5 to 5 CGPA to appear for the internships & placements. Upon which, few companies have their own eligibility criteria. There are regular aptitude tests for preparation conducted by the academic forums along with the Placements team to get you prepped up.
Fees and Financial Aid
Got a 75% academic scholarship based on XAT & CMAT scores, which had a huge impact on the ROI. Scholarships were awarded to the topper of each stream. Most of the companies that came for internships were start-ups and the experience was okayish.
Campus Life
The campus is as good as it could get. Numerous interesting clubs, activities, forums & committees. One must be clear and confident before getting into any of these. He/she should also be sure of the amount of time & effort they are willing to put in.
Hostel Facilities
It's a residential programme so it is mandatory for all the students to stay on the campus. Hostel & mess facilities were good and pretty reasonable. Housekeeping staff were also very friendly and there was free laundry throughout the programme. There are also many student-run ventures that lighten up campus life. The only thing, if at all to complain about is the Non-Ac rooms.
Interview Experience
The interview was based on student background, work experience (if any), industry knowledge, career path, ambitions & hobbies. GD was pretty simple with a straightforward topic. TIME institute helped in preparing for the tests< GD and PI.
Other Applied Colleges
NMIMS Mumbai | PGDM
Got Hyderabad branch
KJSIMSR | PGDM-Core
