Remarks

Good aspects of college are a great campus, better faculties, good mess food, diversity of students from many states, and educational backgrounds. The admission process includes your score above 79% in CAT and 91% in CMAT to get a call. Then GDPI.

Course Curriculum Overview

These course contents are in-depth to gain knowledge and skills. All the faculties are top-notch and experts in their fields with great teaching experience from IIM, XLRI, and Foreign Universities. Exams are held in Tri semester pattern.

Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All students get placed in the summer internship program placements. Good job roles are provided to the students. The placement rate for each year in an internship offered is 100%. It includes both stipends and without stipends.

Placement Experience

The average placement provided is around 8 Lakhs. While the highest package goes for 14 lakhs and the lowest for 6 lakhs. More than 120 companies visit campus for final placement which includes many big names.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is divided into 6 installments each after each semester end. The cost to study including hostel and mess is 12.10 lakhs for 2 years. Various scholarships are provided for economically backward students.

Campus Life

The campus is full of lush greenery landscapes and trees, environment and IIM themed administrative buildings, hostel, and mess. Various Books from renowned authors and online platforms are available in the library.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is very nice. Your room includes a table chair, bed, and cupboard and each room consists of windows. Cool water filters are available on each floor and corridors including toilets and bathrooms are cleaned every 2 days.

NMIMS through my lens

Placement Experience:

Currently I am in first year so I have not been placed as of yet but the placemnets for our seniors is on going which is the first batch of MBA HCM and hence I would not be able to reveal the cokmpanies. The few summer internship companies though were Apollo, Nanavati, BMJ etc.

First green B-School in India

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem. Good Aspects - 1) Quality Mess with edible food. We have a day each in a week of egg and chicken biryani respectively. 2) One of the best Learning and Resource Centers in the country. It's a state-of-the-art centre with lakhs of books which caters to all your curiosity and explanation.
