Amazing Journey in IMI Bhubaneswar

I decided to choose this college because it has good placement, an average of 8-9 lacs and a 16-acre lush green campus. High profiled faculty staff and good learning curriculum. I got to this college through the CMAT entrance exam. I was shortlisted for the selection process. Ist round of selection was GD and the next round was Interview. I used the Collegedunia website for selecting this college.

Faculty members here are highly skilled and professional. Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations faculties are perfect in their domain. They are specialist in their fields. Most faculties are PhD holders in their domain. Marketing and HR faculties are amazing. Marketing faculties teach new ways with modern techniques. Each year of PGDM contains 3 terms and each term is a maximum of 3 months. We have Markstrat game software as the marketing subject in the 3rd term, where we learn marketing strategies in, real corporate world and apply them in marketing, which is really useful in the future. It is a student-driven college, so students are really more energetic and focused to generate practical knowledge. Institute also has a lot of software for the students to learn, experience and competence in the corporate world.

College provides many live projects, internships and placement. Top recruiting firms like Delloite, Dell, Amazon, ICICI Bank, OYO etc. Summer Internship (SIP) is offered to the students in top companies, where students have the opportunity of getting PPO. In this pandemic situation also, everyone in IMI Bbsr got the SIP in different fields in the 2020-2022 batch. Our seniors are also placed in top recruiting firms this year.

College provides very good internships, live projects and placements. Almost 90% of the students got placed by the college. Its Average package is 8 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. Top recruiting firms came to the college like Amazon, Delloite, Dell, ICICI Bank etc. There is also a Placement Committee that works under this and provides many opportunities for internships and placements.

The fees for 1 year is approx 5-6 lacs. The fees can be paid through demand draft/pay order in the favor of the institute. We need to pay the fees before every term. Hostel and mess fees need to be pay once a year. The institute provides the opportunity of scholarships like Foreign scholarships, Pre- Admission scholarships, live projects and internships from the MNCs etc. Institute organizes many webinars per month, which are really very knowledgeable. Institute also provides education loans partnerships with many banks such as SBI etc.

IMI Bbsr is a 16-acre lush green campus, full greenery and a natural environment. There are libraries where all varieties of study material are available. The college organizes many events monthly. Parties are also organized by the institute like freshers party, farewell, convocation. There are many committees and clubs like Cultural Committee, Media & PR Committee, Bytes Committee, Alumni Committee, Finance club, Marketing Club, EK BHARAT SHRESHT BHARAT Club (EBSB club) etc. All facilities are available here like football ground, volleyball ground, tennis playroom, Gymnasium etc.

The hostel fees and mess fees of 1 year are 1,10,000 Rs. There is the availability of single ac room, single non-ac room, double ac room and double non-ac room. The fees of the room will be according to that. The hostel rooms and infrastructure of the college is really very amazing. The meal quality and taste are really awesome. There is also a Mess Committee, who perform their duty very perfectly.

Yes, I was shortlisted for the institute through the entrance level exam, I filled out the form online, went through the extempore test, followed by GD and essay writing. The final selection process was the PI round.
