Get to know better IMT Nagpur

I chose this college because it provided me with a decent scholarship based on my CAT score. Also, it has a decent curriculum as per industry needs. This college is totally student-driven which means all the club's committees forums are managed by students only which help them to get managerial skills.

The course curriculum is up to the mark and as per industrial requirement and trends. The faculty is one of the best. They have good expertise and knowledge. They are easily approachable. The curriculum includes guest lectures with prominent leaders of the market so that students remain updated regarding market trends.

College does provide internship opportunity majorly with startups. The stipend is provided in rare case. Roles are offered as per specialization like finance, marketing, human resource management, operations etc.

Campus do provides placement. Students become eligible in the second year with a minimum of 5 CGPA in the first year. Companies start to visit the campus in early October and till April or May. Currently, 80+ companies have visited with the highest package of around 16 lakhs and an average of 7 lakhs (approximate value). There lies ample opportunity if you make yourself prepared.

Though college fees are around 12 lakhs-14 lakhs for the course but institute provides various good scholarships to the students. First based on the CAT/XAT score. You can get up to a 60% reduction in academic fees. Second, based on merit and performance in the first year in various subjects up to 1 lakhs.

The campus is entirely student-driven. All the clubs, committees and academic forums are run and managed by students only. There are three student ventures also, started and run by students solely. The college has a national event 'Milestone 35' in which various other colleges participate. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and spacious.

The hostel is mandatory for an MBA programme. This is a residential programme so even if you belong to a nearby area then also you have to opt for hostels. Hostel charges are minimal i.e, 25000/- per semester. Hostels are neat and clean. Spacious rooms. You will get no point to complain about. Washrooms are cleaned every hour. The quality of mess food is above average. Food is served 4 times a day. Breakfast, lunch, Tea and Dinner.

Institute accepts CAT, XAT and other exams scores as well. I did not face any group discussion round but the college surely has a personal interview round. I was asked about my graduation subjects and their knowledge. If you are an experienced person you might be asked about your past job.
