Remarks

Good aspect of college>wonderful campus. >good infrastructure>cooperative staff>student welfare. >great annual functionBad aspect of college>not good placement specific for mechanical and civil>some teacher faculty are not goodAdmission processI got admission through CAP process In 2016 through Maharashtra quota. I have preferred college because I like the campus, industry exposure.

I have choose this course because I am interested in mechanical engineering. Faculty to student ratio are so nice like 1:15And the most interesting thing in my college is this there is per 20 students there is 1 teacher which is called teacher guidance which resolve issue apart from subject. Qualifications of facultyMost of the faculty are PhD and masters. Teaching methodI like the teaching method of some teacher. ExamMost of the exam happen as per university. It was little bit difficult as compare to other branch.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

Most of the company visited in 7th semester which allows the eligible students for sit for placement. There are some technical company, IT company, also sales company visited. Highest package was 12lakh while lowest was 1.8lakh almost 50-60% students was placed. My plan is to do post graduation.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. I have taken admission by qualifying the cet exam by 93 pecentile . The college gives admission through cet exams. The admission process is through CAP round if ur score is above 93 for girls and for boys the cut off is around 94 percentile and reduces according to category. If ur alloted with the college u have to pay full fees alloted to your category if you dont have the required category documents you will have to pay the full fees at the time of admissions .
