I joined in Amity Global Business School Hyderabad. The college is very. Firstly i interacted with the alumni of the college, as they gave me good response over the college i choose this and also placements wise also it is soo good. I applied through online on March 14,2020. Then they scheduled an interview. It is online mode as the lockdown is there then. I used siksha and collegedunia website to search the colleges in and around Hyderabad.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is fine. They can include more specializations, it would be helpfull. The student teacher ratio 1:5. Most of the faculty done their Phd and i think its a basic criteria to join the institution as a faculty.
Internships Opportunities
I got an internship in pinelabs in a role of Recruitment Associate. We needn't to go to office. Theres a flexibility of doing it from home. Also its a paid internship. The Internship experience is very nice.
Placement Experience
In the 3rd semester of the Post graduation students become eligible for the placements. The highest package which i know is 10LPA, and the average salary is around 4.5LPA. Even if we aren't placed the degree from the Amity University will be very useful in fetching the jobs.
College Events
We have a fest or an event on an average of every 2 weeks. We have a very great library and access to various E-journals.our campus is fully equipped centralised Air conditioning. We dont have any sports ground as of now.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is 7,57,000. If u have written any entrance exam like CAT, MAT and u got a score of 80 percentile or above in CAT and composite score of 550 and above in MAT we can avail a scholarship of 25% on first years college fees. We take bank loans as well thats not an issue and they offer 100% placements
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility in our college. Our college is opposite to Punjagutta metro station. We have all the pg and hostels in and around Punjagutta. The cost for pg would be ranging from 10000. Coming to rent of a room it would be a minimum of maintenance.
Admission
Yes we have an GD and PI. Firstly we have to apply to a course. Then a GD date will given. Then a topic is assigned to group of 10 people and it goes for a period of 10 mins. Then based on that we will be short listed and will have a personal interview. In the PI we will be having a questions like why I have choosed this college over other. What are your views on business and some basic questions to test your communication skills.
