Remarks

Highly reputable(had good online reviews by its alumni), looked professional, was nearby, so not much travel needed, Fees was not too high, teachers looked highly educated, infrastructure was amazing as well as, course syllabus was top notch, Nothing outdated, and provided a global view on the business world, and it also had online application forms which really helped me get admission in it

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is totally upto date, meeting the current standards, its given a lot of industrial point of views as well with its practical touch on its syllabus, the faculties are all Amazing, solve each and every doubt that i have ever had(which isn't much by the way),Kitty maam, Sulekha maam, Shilpa ma'am are some of the best teachers present over there

I can't say much since i am a new student, but from what i have heard from the seniors and teachers and the alumni the placement rate is really good and same as other reputable colleges if not better

College Events

The cultural festivals are amazing and fun, Sports events are even better which are held by the college. In short the whole campus life is really fun, the crowd is amazing, their events are always creative, and never ceased to amaze me, like fresher's party, independence day, AML(Amity Mumbai league) and the best part is most of the students take part in it and don't skip it

Campus Life

The infrastructure is well built and clean, for sports they rent a huge turf which is amazing and have many sports events held every year, i have never used their wifi since i have a data connection, the library is huge and is filled with a lot of books

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
