Remarks

MLBMC Jhansi is government medical college that was allotted to me through counselling after NEET UG 2019 according to my merit score and rank. Well the good aspects about college is that it consist of very beautiful campus, full of greenery, trees, plants. MLBMC Jhansi is known for its medical treatment, Expert Doctors. Now the bad aspect, like all other medical college, ragging is there. A bit tough one. Academics is not that good like any other government medical college. You have to be on your own. About admission process, appear for NEET, score good rank, apply for all India counselling or up counselling. If you come in merit list you will be allotted a medical college based on preferences you submit. My reason for preferring this college was because its a government college and old one so there is high patient load. While choosing this college, I read many comments on Quora , talked with parents and friends. Its a nice college which makes us better person.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because it is my dream to become a great Doctor and serve humanity by earning a lot of money. Faculty, student ratio in our college is 1: 50 , 1:20 depending upon different subjects and available teachers. Well the faculty is highly qualified as they are all doctors. Demonstrators are MBBS degree holders. Lectures and professors are MD, MS in their respective subjects. The teaching method is old blackboard chalk method during lectures and sometimes use of smart classes via projectors. Practical's are done in a good way. Labs are their with all facilities available. Cadaver for explanation is available. There are topic wise exams knows as PCT and PCV. Also semester exam take place. All these exams are internal exams. At the end of year university exam take place know as professional exams. Well it is really very tough to pass medical exams. Specially practical's and viva are very tough. We need to study all year with dedication.

Placement Experience

5

During admission we sign an affidavit with UP government to work in rural area for 2 years or else give 10 lakh rupees. If selected for PG bond will continue after PG fir 5 years else 40 lakh fine. Since there is affidavit , UP government will itself provide job to us as MBBS doctors. Most of students appear for NEET PG exam and take admission in allotted college as junior resident. If one cannot clear NEET PG exam, they will either work in clinics and hospitals as MBBS doctors or they will join any college as demonstrators or Lecturers. The students who have completed internship of 1 year after 4.5 years course are eligible to take any job or practice in private. Salary of mbbs doctors in our country is 60-70 thousand monthly. Almost all students get placed in one or other place. I will get my MS and DM degree after mbbs and become a neurosurgeon.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in government medical college is very low compared to private medical college. My fees during Admission in 1st year. Tuition fees including everything = 36000 annual, Hostel fees = 6000 annual, Hostel welfare fees = 4000 annual, Mess charges = 2400 / month ,( on Sunday evening mess is off so we need to have our dinner out) . During second year tuition fees including hostel = 28800 ,Hostel welfare fees = 4000, Mess = 2400/ month. About scholarship, Uttar Pradesh government provide scholarship to students. Criteria for having scholarship is that your annual income should be less than 2 lakh. All the process is done online. With verification at college and university. Well right now there is no job provided but during 5th year of mbbs we get salary of our internship. That is 12000/ month.

Campus Life

4

Life at campus is good. Full of activities, task , lectures, labs, posting in OPD. One is free and very busy there. In my college annually their is celebration of -Basant Panchami organized by students in month of January or February. Lohri celebration on 13th of January every year. Janmashtami . College fest and sports in month of December. All type of medical related books and research works are available in library. Classrooms are non ac, old ones. Smart classes are there. Some fans, lights work, some don't. Talking about sports and extra curriculum activities. There is football, volleyball, basket, badminton courts. One can play anytime, no restrictions are there. During annual sports kabaddi, football, volleyball, basket ball, cricket, athletics are organized both for boys and girls. AIMSA, IMA ,IMO are the organization present in college, one can join any of them in any committee or group of there interest. Social life except study pressure is good.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel is provided at time of admission only. It is 10— 10 room with 2 bed and one almirah. With no facility of electricity and fan, bulb. We have to arrange these things by our own expenses. The room is painted by our own expense. 10—10 room is shared by 2 or 3 people. Many mess is available there . U can appoint any of them at cost of 2400/ month with Sunday evening holiday. Quality is good like home. In the breakfast there can be- Poha, parantha chana, aloo parantha, pyaz parantha , palak parantha. Lunch is simpler one 5 roti a handful of rice, daal and sabzi. In dinner same as lunch with little spicy. Egg in Wednesday dinner Nonveg / paneer on Friday. Registration for hostel is done during admission only. Room is allotted by hostel president. Since price is 10000 annual it is quite affordable. We are allowed to have cooler, but no AC. Tv is present in mess. Parking is there for bikes and cars.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was in 2nd class then on report card I have to write which is your aim in future or what you want to become in future . Then there I I choose that I want to become a doctor and from then I I have dream that I become eligible doctor . Second doctor is very noble profession and it is my honour that I am serving the people and save the lives of the people . This profession teaches me a lot like how to cope with the situations and how to react very quickly in every situation . It help us to improve our skills and also our mental health and makes a strong mentally and emotionally .. I should suggest that there is a improvement in online lectures also provided for the MBBS course because there is little bit difficulty in the college to go there and study there because some scarcity of faculties in the college so qualitative education is not provided as it should be provided. The MBBS course offers four exams which are little bit hard to clear and there is little difficulty in clearing the exam. The timing of the exam is from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The terminal occurs at the gap of 3 months while the pre professional exam and the professional exam occur at the gap of 1 month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream destination career wise to choose MBBS . MBBS connects you to life and death the two most important aspects of being a human on this planet . Having a power to cure someone and make people smile and live again with health is something else. As in our India the population to doctor ratio is very less hence it's important for the young generation to understand and evaluate the decision of serving the country this way. MBBS is dream for many but reality for very few students all over the country. But the people reaching here face toxic culture also , as prestigious it is as disturbing sometimes it becomes , people over here do not understand the mental health of others So this aspect should be taken in to care and medicos should be handled with care by the society, government and also the seniors . The exams are big rat race , but it's really satisfying as a reader as you get to study and read a lot about medicine . So choose MBBS but not toxicity make your mind that you ll make it beautiful for yourself and also for your batchmates and juniors as well .
