Entrance Preview

I appeared in the UPSEE screening examination conducted by UPTU. After the exam you will get the rank and based on your rank you will get the chance to select the college in the screening.

Course Curriculum Overview

First year you have to go through all the subject (mixed from each branch). And after the first year you will get majority of the subjects from your branch. But still you will be having one subject every year from some other branch. You have to clear 5 or 6 subject in each semester. And you will get less time to thoroughly go through the concept of each course.

Internships Opportunities

During our course time, they didn't provide internship. You have to see yourself where you will do the internship. Basically they didn't also suggest that in which files we should do the internship.

Placement Experience

During our tenure only 2 & 3 good companies came and they were also for software background. For electronics student their were no core companies and you have to appear in the software companies, and also number of software companies were also less.

Faculty

Faculty of the college was ok. I would give (2/5), because mainly 2 teachers in each semester will be O.k but others will be just time pass.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average But all the students here focus on off campus placements because the in campus placements are very average. Like you'll get a placement of ?6 lakhs or seven lakhs, depending on your CV.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes due to the autonomous factor I have chosen this college. The curriculum they have designed is market fit and also more practical .Python which is usually taught in 4th/5th semester is being taught in 2nd semester in autonomous batches . Frequency of exams is good after every unit CA is conducted and in every semester 2 midsems are conducted.
