Remarks

Good aspect - Good faculty, placement and brand. Bad aspect - less practical exposure. CMAT exam and around April month. Best college in tier 2 category in terms of ROI. Reviews from seniors, facebook quanta.

Course Curriculum Overview

Based on interest and carrier growing opportunities. The faculty-student ratio is 1:40. Most of them are PhD and follow the case study based method. Exams are scheduled on time every 3 months and class learning are enough to pass.

Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Jio creative labs, Pay U, Vodafone, money roller etc this are companies for the internship. They offer projects under their domain of expertise. The highest stipend provided is 22k by Crisil and they gave analyst role in an internship.

Placement Experience

I guess 5th term starting will be the placement session. Companies such as bain and company, TCS, EY, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Sutherland etc visits campus. Around 80% of the campus got placement even in the pandemic situation.

Fees and Financial Aid

12 lakhs includes everything. 60% scholarship for the 90 percentile in CAT/XAT. Finance assistance for weaker background candidate. I got an internship in Money roller in the area of interest. Fees are okay if you compare with the other college.

Campus Life

Many committees organise their fest since it's a student-driven campus. All the books are available that is needed for an MBA grad. Sports, food, dance everything is available on the campus. Everything is student-driven even the canteen is having a committee.

Hostel Facilities

Everything is included in the fees, mess schedule is revised every 2 weeks. College is located 35 km so no PG or rented room. Every state food is available in the college plus there are FNF and praytna is also there to serve their cuisine.

Interview Experience

Group activity - they asked to develop a hotel chain business idea and represent that in front of the panel. They asked a question to the individual to split the idea and individual contribution. The interview was completely around the graduation subjects. I have read my CV and graduation subjects.

Placements are great almost 300+ Companies visit the campus every year like Infosys takes 50+ students, tcs, asian paints etc do visit I'm doing my internship in Mercedes benz and almost 65% of my seniors are placed already.

Placement Experience:

Currently I am in first year so I have not been placed as of yet but the placemnets for our seniors is on going which is the first batch of MBA HCM and hence I would not be able to reveal the cokmpanies. The few summer internship companies though were Apollo, Nanavati, BMJ etc.

First green B-School in India

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem. Good Aspects - 1) Quality Mess with edible food. We have a day each in a week of egg and chicken biryani respectively. 2) One of the best Learning and Resource Centers in the country.
