Remarks
The good aspect of the college was that it was the top-ranking college of that time, the institute comprised of many professional teachers who were much friendly to solve any query. Since my college was in greater Noida which was almost close as compared to another such college. I too direct admission. My elder brother suggested taking admission since he is also an engineering student so he guided me to join GNIOT.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed to do a BTech in Civil Engineering because I wanted to be an civil engineer so my elder brother guided me to join this course in GNIOT. The ratio of teachers was sufficient to handle to sort the problem of the student. The number of student in my course of civil engineering was 170. which were divided into three sections. The teacher was very cooperative and they were very polite to solve the problems of the student. the behaviour of the college stuff including the teacher and the HOD all were good in behaviour. The exam used to hold every 6 months and there was a unit test that was conducted every month. Altogether there were 3 unit test and 2 pre-unit test which used to conducted every 6 months.
Placement Experience
From 7-Semester students get eligible to appear in campus placement. There were many companies such as Prism, Surya and many more, Infosys, and many more. The Prism company made an offer of 144000 CTC. The highest placement in my branch in the college was 4 lakh CTC. The college does not have that much potential in placing each and everyone, but the filtered best one gets selected by the company itself when the company visit the campus. So as far as I know the college is a bit lethargic in terms of placements. If we see the placement percentage it would be 60%. My plans were to study for the competitive exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the course were dynamic for every year, approximately one lakh per year, so approximately four lakh for the whole course. There was a scholarship provision for the college top ranker and the UP govt. also, provide the scholarship according to the category such as SC ST OBC etc. According to my all over it was costly.
Campus Life
Annual fees were approximate 1 lakh rupees. There was no fest but only annual debate and tech mania. The institute comprises of a huge library which has plenty of books regarding your studies. The amenities were as common as another college has such as a fan, projector, comfortable table and bench, clean and clear classroom. The college was also active in sports activity, various acts were held, even my college has a team for various sport. The college also participated in big college events which were on the national level. I don't know any such website.
