Remarks

It has a very smooth admission process and Cut off is around 75+ in CAT/XAT and 90+ in CMAT They are very flexible in terms of dates as they give at least 2 chance to apply and a single form is accepted for all 4 campuses of IMT IMT start the process in December and goes till march No hidden fees, everything is included in the fee structure Process of admission changes as per requirement I chose IMT because it has good placement and the best student life.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did my PGDM in Marketing and HR Because I had an interest in it. IMT has a great faculty base who are having both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure as well in the industry. Most faculty in IMT are Ph.D. holders and have been involved in writing research papers for years.

Course Fees: INR 1210000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All the students get internship opportunities from the campus placement. Companies such as Jio, Crisil, etc. are regular companies for SIP. Many live projects are also offered during the year by various companies.

Placement Experience

Campus placement starts from 4th trimester Brands such as Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, KPMG, Schneider, Orient, ICICI, SBI, Tata are regular in campus placement. The average package is around 8.5- 9 LPA. Almost the whole batch gets placed in all the streams.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of IMT is very transparent and no hidden/extra charges for anything. Also, it has scholarships for meritorious students who have scored more than 90% in CAT/XAT or are topper of subject or stream during the course.

Campus Life

IMT is known for its great student life. It has many events which are organized throughout the year by different student committee forums or clubs. Events include academic competitions, quiz, fests, cultural activity, sports competition, etc. In IMT, every month you will see at least 2 events being organized so life on the campus never gets boring. In IMT student-run business venture as well which provides different service to the students and give practical business exposure.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are single and double occupancy basis. The hostel is separate for boys and girls. Security is also there 24*7 The housekeeping department is also present all the time and every day. Food is the mess is just awesome, because the mess is also maintained by the student committee so no compromise on variety, taste, and quality.

Interview Experience

Usually, the process involves 2-3 steps, GD could be there but not necessarily, There could be assigned based tasks to perform and PI will be there. There could be Group tasks as well. Work ex could have a preference but not mandatory

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem. Good Aspects - 1) Quality Mess with edible food. We have a day each in a week of egg and chicken biryani respectively. 2) One of the best Learning and Resource Centers in the country.
