College is Amazing

I opted for this college because it is the 2nd Campus of Banaras Hindu University which is a Central University. My college has occupied an area of about 2700 acres and it is really a very huge campus over the main campus. The best thing about My college is that it is surrounded by nature. One will find peace and a very good environment in which one can study very well. As Right now I am in the 2nd semester of 1st year I found that the Faculty members, professor's are really very supportive and has helping nature and they support the student in every aspect. Due to Covid, we are attending online classes but then also we found it much interesting. There is a separate hostel for each field like science fields students have their own hostels and commerce field student have their own hostels. The campus also has the facility of Gym, Playgrounds. But the main drawback of this campus is that is situated in a very isolated area but inside the campus, everything is available which is required by a student.

I course which I have opted for is a special course and has the advantage that along with the BCom Hons degree one will get financial market management so it means you are getting benefits of three courses. The Faculty members are really very good they are supporting and helping in nature and they teach us very well. In my class, the number of students is 55. The staff teaching us are really well qualified and some are ph.d qualified and some are just completing their ph.d. This year due to covid the exam was held in ONLINE system i.e OPEN BOOK EXAMINATION and this was a good idea in this covid era. I have not received my marks yet.

As I am a student of 1st year I have no idea about the placement but our teacher told us that for placement many companies come over here and choose the best student for their company and sometimes students are sent to the main campus for placement.

The fees of this course are around 27007 and the hostel fees are around 4000 in which 2000 is refundable and mess fees per student will differ from 2500-3500 per month according to the diet. The students can get Scholarship benefits as I have received the scholarship of amount 21200 and most of my class student have received around 27000-30000. We have received this amount from STATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME U.P SCHOLARSHIP. During offline classes, opportunities are given to the student for internship

Due to the Covid era, we have neither attended any offline class and nor we have any experience of campus and social life as nowadays we are attending online classes and the only thing which we can say is that the behaviour of teaching staff and non teaching staff is really very good and rules are very strict over there.

The students who were enrolled in session 2020-2021 have not got the facility of the hostel as due to covid all the hostel's college and everything was close even now all things are close so cannot say more about it.
