Infrastructure of my college is best among all UP college. Teachers are good and lab assistant are best . Maximum students have qualified GATE and CAT exam . U.I.E.T Kanpur (COLLEGE ADMISSION)- UPSEE Entrance exam Opening and Closing Rank- GN (1-20000) , 0BC (1-28000) , SC (1-42000) , ST (1-54000). At UPSEE counseling time I chose CHATRAPATI SHAHU JI MAHARAJ UNIVERSITY U.I.E. T comes under the CHATRAPATI SHAHU JI MAHARAJ UNIVERSITY

I chose mechanical engineering because it is the king of all branches . GATE qualified students in U.I.E.T comes from Mechanical (approx. 40 / 60). 10 teacher allotted in every branch . There are 60 student in every branch .BRANCH IN U.I.E.T- (MECHANICAL ENGINEERING ,COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, MATERIAL SCIENCE ENGINEERING) Faculty have also qualified GATE exam and M.tech . faculty are good and teaching style is good. There are 2 semester in a year ( odd and even) . EXAM-QUIZ 1 , QUIZ 2 , MID SEM , END SEM .

Placement of my college is average . 7th semester student will be available for campus placements. MAHINDRA, TATA , TCS Highest salary -12 lac/annum. lowest salary - 4 lac/annum. 40 percent student have placed. I prefer higher studies after graduation.

Fees Structure - 83543 (for all B.tech student) . Tuition fees-80000 and Exam fees-3000,Insurance fees-543. You can get state government scholarship ( UP SCHOLARSHIP ) . If you have not got UP scholarship then you can apply for POOR FUND SCHOLARSHIP . You can also apply for study loan . CAMPUS PLACEMENT - Only CS,IT,ECE student have got campus placement . MECHANICAL students do own startup and placed out campus selection . Material science student run for higher studies .

Annual fest - there are many cultural fest in every 3 months . Annual fest is celebrated in February. There are no tech fest conducted by college . There are a big Central Library in my college . U.I.E.T have a big ground ,you can play cricket, badminton ,basketball and also have a swimming pool . There are many extra circular activities in my campus. Techcriti , mission , Divybharti are many fest available.

U.I.E.T have boys and girls hostel . Hostel room are well maintained like hotels. There are 2 boys or girls in a room. Food quality are better than restaurant. Fill the form of the hostel and pay the fees and you will get the room in hostel .(Form will be available at the hostel) Rent room or PG is available near the college .
