Entrance Preview
I opted this college because, As we all know that the base/fundamental of education depends on the knowledge of the guru - As I reviewed it and known that the senior most faculties are mainly from IIT retd persons. The second reason is the progression of Campus placements which is excellent here.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was a multi dimensional curriculum syllabus with multi dimensional subjects covering most of the engineering fields. The faculties are chosen in a mixed up state, like few with industrial background and some with academics which is directly joining hands in the molding of the student with more concentrated practical knowledge.

Yes, these are based on our curriculum performance. The below are the list of companies offered internship, Ford Motors, Tafe, L& t Ltd, Essar steels, Sumi Motherson , Ashok leyland, TVS motors, Rane TRW, Metchno (i) pvt ltd, Titan Etc.
Placement Experience
The placement is excellent here. Each & every student without arriears in subjects are assured with placements compulsorily. This target is being achieved mainly by conducting scheduled training programs conducted by various placement consultants which are also very useful throughout my carrier till today.

Chickane 2K4 mechanical dept. culturals, International science & technology conference, Symposiums on various topics are held.

Campus Life
Sports : It has facilities for most of the Indian sports and inter college tournaments are conducted very often. The Physical education faculty is also a added advantage who guides the interested students to achieve bigger. NCC: The college actively participates in NCC with many interested students and the self discipline is thought very well out there.

Hostels are available in various ranges. From normal to international level. And the mess facilities are very comfortable for people from any state or country.

Yes, the alumni meet is held every year where we get a opportunity to meet one another. Also we get created a E-mail group by the college for communicating with us regularly.

The Lab facilities are awesome with numerous innovations and technological advancements. The SRMIST has its own fame of having the asias no.1 Lab for NANO TECHNOLOGY. The exams are very cool with ample space for preparations. Group preparations & group studies are a common practice during examinations.
Faculty
The faculty assessment is a program conducted by every department of our college management, which will include a feedback form indicating the positives and negatives of the faculties and based on which training's are conducted for the staffs in required fields.
