An amazing life

I attended SRM University Sonepat because it is one of the best colleges available for management students currently. The best part about SRM University Sonepat is the faculty, curriculum, infrastructure; everything is well synchronized. I got admission through SRMHCAT, the internal entrance exam of the university. I preferred SRMUH because of its curriculum, faculty knowledge and experience, after-college reviews of alumni and others.

BBA Course curriculum is very advanced and helped us to prepare for the industry trends and requirements. I chose BBA as I want to make my career in the management field in future. The faculty-student ratio is quite satisfying here. It is 1:30. Faculty are PhD degree holders and hold vast industry experience that helps us to understand the industry requirements and standards and prepare accordingly. Exams were conducted on a semester basis. Also, there were surprise tests, mock tests regularly.

SRMUH offers on-campus internship opportunities to students with both paid and unpaid internships. The major companies that recruited us for internships are TATA Powers, Extramarks, Infosoft solutions etc. We were majorly hired for assistant/ executive roles as we were completely new to this world and to learn the basic work cultures, the hierarchy of an organization, we were working for such roles.

Students are eligible for placements from the second year itself as they are already equipped with the required knowledge and skills, but to make it even more perfect, faculty advise students to join professional life after completing graduation. Swiggy, extra marks, KPMG, Byju's etc are some of the companies that recruit from our campus. Highest package was 6 LPA, the average package was 3 LPA whereas the lowest was around 2 LPA. Almost 90% of the students were placed in my batch.

The fee structure is quite affordable here and completely justifies the amount as the curriculum, structure, teaching pedagogy is very updated and match industry needs. Also, the scholarship policy is very flexible and reduces a good amount from the tuition fees which makes it even more affordable and justified.

Annual fest named PRISMA is organized at SRMUH which is a fabulous event. The university invites famous singers, musicians, comedians etc. artists from the industry to make it even more cherishable. The library consists of thousands of books, journals, magazines etc. both in traditional as well as electronic format accessible to the students. Classrooms are well-equipped with AC, Wi-fi and smartboards to help students understand and learn better. A lot of extracurricular activities like games, sports, dance competitions, cooking competitions, etc. were organized regularly at the campus.

Hostels are very neat and clean, maintain proper hygiene and provide excellent facilities like it has 24*7 water availability, 24*7 wi-fi is accessible. The laundry facility is available on daily basis. The best part is the mess food. The food is very delicious and of high quality. Healthy meals are provided daily along with some junk foods on the weekends which is much awaited by the students.
