There's everything good about the college. The faculties, the infrastructure, the professionalism, the train, the development, the knowledge, the experience, the exposure that we get is truly unmatched. The admission criteria are that you will have to have a minimum of 50% and you will have to give their entrance exam if at all you don't have a valid score in any of the other exams like CAT, MAT and etc. And then GD and PI. Completely merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are one of the bests in every aspect. They have vast knowledge with a lot of experience in the corporate world. They are from industries across the globe so that's a benefit for us because we not only gain theoretical knowledge but also get to know real-life experiences that our faculties have gained. They are from eminent places like IIM's and IIT's and even from Oxford and other foreign universities.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, they do provide internship opportunities. There are Summer Internships that they provide is with but at the same time, we can go for off-campus internship opportunities. There's no limitation as such.
Placement Experience
Placements are really good here. They get good companies for the campus but it depends upon the students whether they are able to bag it or not companies like Delloite, TCS, HDFC, Zomato, Oyo, Tata Mahindra, Ericsson, ICICI prudential etc. The average package is 6.5 lakhs and the highest is around 18 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
MBA is a residential course so you gave to stay in the hostel no matter what. And the total fees is 13,60,000 (2020-22) which is a two-year professional course. The fees vary from batch to batch. Our previous batch had less amount than us and the upcoming batch might have more than us.
Campus Life
The annual fear that is conducted is KIIT FEST, quite popular not only among KIIT students but other students in town as well. It's very famous because of all the glam. They invite Bollywood celebrities, singers, DJ's. They do provide books. And there are a lot of books and journals in the library that we can avail.
Interview Experience
Yes, the 1st step is to give the entrance exam if you don't have any valid score from any of the exams like CAT, MAT etc. You have to pass that first, and then GD and PI. And you need to have 50% in your graduation for this. And my GD topic was should same-gender marriage be legalized in India. And in PI, I was asked many questions regarding the current news, the government, current international news, and some basic questions from my previous course curriculum.
