Please don't take admission in any campus of SRM University. Even rape cases and murder happen around the campus which are not shown in media due to the power of SRM.

I gave SRMEEE exam to get admitted in this college.My rank was 5000.I opted for this college as it was near my home and SRM had a ggod reputation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here is not good .Teachers are biased plus they leak Question papers.You will have 12-16 papers per semester and the way you will be taught is pathetic.They do not include all chapters of book which results in student having insufficient knowledge on the subject.
Internships Opportunities
No SRM university does not provide intership. They are just interested in taking money not in giving away.
Placement Experience
Yes Placement is good as they pay companies TCS ,Wipro etc to hire students from there college .After all they need to maintain their false reputation.But if you are a student of NCR Campus ,You will have to go Chennai for placements and Secondly,there also you will be discriminated as you belong to north campus
College Events
Yes how can i forget the events or the so called "fest" of my college.Here too they used to take money from us and the teachers along with HODs use to do scams everything in SRM is about Money.Then need money for every single thing they do for you.God knows what do they do with the hefty tuition fee we give them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
SRM is too expensive.For the year 2010-2014 the fee for CSE was 150000.Now it must have reached 250000 Keeping in mind how greedy SRM is it may be even more. They don't even provide scholarship.Forget it SRM will be SRM.For some branches like Aerospace Engineering the fee is 300000.It is less for Bio technology though.
Fees and Financial Aid
As mentioned earlier SRM believes in taking and not giving. You may get scholarship if you are take branches like Food processing, Bio technology etc. But taking these sort of technology will ruin your carrier.
Campus Life
Campus live will be great. Girls:boys ratio would be like 20:40. Speaking on Diversity ,you will find people from all parts of country and also from Africa. Fests, Competitions, workshops are a part and parcel of college life but most of the paper presentation are not up to the mark.
Hostel Facilities
The quality of food and hostel is too cheap and for that too fee is more than 150000.Students preffer to stay outside rather than staying in hostel. Paying 150000 just for free wifi and ice cream on Sunday is way too much.Moreover you will be ragged in hostel if you are a fresher.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a alumni network which no one cares about and is just there for name shake. Yes you will get some awesome friends during your stay here.
Exam Structure
Exams pe Exams they take 4 exams per semester.If you are having 12 subjects, you wil have 4*12 =48+ exams. Plus you will also have surprise test. In 6 months semester you will spend 48 days of your college giving exams.In this you 6 months you will have 50 holidays and the rest of the days you will have to do either project or prepare for some fest.
Faculty
The faculty are not up to the mark.The tuition fee they take is very high.The education level and the degree of understanding of teachers here is not good.Moreover HOD and teachers force people to buy the books written by them which do not contain correct information.There are some Tamil professor who give marks to people based on whether they are north indian or south indian.
