Entrance Preview

CET, 9500 ranking CSE provides many opportunities and for gals it is very easy to study Gals can get many job opportunities Seat was selected in CET process.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

College was good for studying and completing the course i did not find anything related to research in the college. The course was completed Labs were good to perform practicals. Internals were conducted on time.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not provide any Internships during our study we did not get much campus offers only few companies came. Company were expecting distinction with no backlogs so student with good % and caliber were not able to attend the campus interview..

Placement Experience

The companies that had come for campus interview are, Infosys, Caritor, Sapient. I was unable to attend any of the comnpanies since i had backlog.

College Events

The college did not celebrate anything apart from college day not much opportunities were provided.

For first 2 years lecturers were really good only few subjects did not have good lecturers for which we had to study on our own though subjects did not have good lecturers many failed because of this reason.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Like companies like Amazon , Delloite , Indiamart,Cisco ,IBM, Mercedez benz R&d INDIA,Oracle , NVIDIA, Samsung,Tata, Wipro, currently in 2025 average package is of 11.9 LPA highest CTC is 71.94 LPA and median is 9.34 LPA currently 77,23% placed and remains ongoing Doing my masters in mechatronics or CSE from IITs or from Foreign univerisites

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .

>The colleges i applied was tier1 and teir 2 but i got knsit with snq-quota. I again got this college in second time. Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
