Best College in Pune for MBA

As I have been in Mumbai throughout my graduation, so to get a chance and with a wish to attend one of the best colleges from Pune, which is opted through MHT CET score PUMBA seem to be a great opportunity. I got admitted through MHT CET score and took admission in Cap Round 2, as during our admission period there was a lot of issues regarding fake scores, so our entire process started late and I took admission during mid of September 2019. I prefer PUMBA because it's Government College so obviously fees is the 1st parameter and also the institute has experienced faculty. I have previously gone through various websites for getting to know about the college, and of course, collegedunia is one of those.

PUMBA has trimester patter with dual specialisation, so I took Finance and Marketing as my major and minor respectively. Every subject has separate faculty mostly 2 faculty per subject, so the entire syllabus is completed within the stipulated course frame. Most of the faculty are PHD holder, so the teaching methods are by that. As this is a trimester pattern so exams come and go within no time, Internal exams are also held, depends on the faculty of the individual subject, some give assignment and some take the test for internal, but for external total 5 external exams and 1 final semester project.

Summer Internships opportunities are available and mostly all of those who have opted for it gets the internship opportunity, Some companies give stipend and some do not, it depends on the company. Students can go on-campus or off-campus for an internship, it's totally open for them.

The placement process starts during the 4th trimester itself and continues till the end of the 6th trimester i.e. till May. Many reputed companies visit during the placement process. Also, most of the companies are from Pune itself, along with the Pan India location. One of the senior from our previous batch got the highest package of around 16 LPA and the average was around 7.2 LPA. Currently, due to pandemic, the placements have been affected, compared to other colleges it is quite good and is still hoping to have great numbers by the end of May.

PUMBA is best in terms of ROI, fees are very less compared to other colleges around. Each year fees was around 40,000 to 70,000. Students eligible for the scholarship are given that and can have a concession in fees according to the scholarship selected.

The campus is within the SPPU University and it's full of greenery. Dhruv is the annual fest during our times which happened to be in the month of January 2020. Apart from that various events also happen in PUMBA. PUMBA has a separate library and has all the books and if not found, is ordered and made available during few weeks. In PUMBA all the cells are completely handled by students whether it is Cultural cell, Sports Cell, Seminar cell, Placement cell, Entrepreneurs Cell, etc.
