Entrance Preview

In engineering, most important is to crack IIT JEE. I also gave the JEE and scored fair marks. But they were not apt for securing a seat in IIT or any other top-notch government college. So, I went for private college searching and found that in private universities, Amity was in the lead. It's a great university. It offers you so many other things than studies. It has a great ambience. The faculty, students, infrastructure, facilities, etc. everything is very good. Courses such as law, engineering, mass communication, BBA and MBA are the most chosen ones here. Placement records are good too. Hence. a great choice to get graduated from.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's laborious for engineering students as they offer variety of other subjects other than core subjects. It lets you do the research and also, can develop working applications or models. They focus on developing ideas, creativity and skills. They don't want you to be a nerd. The curriculum focuses on all aspects from personality to spoken English skills and foreign languages too. In short, it's vast but very rich.

Internships Opportunities

They provide internships. These start at different times for different courses. Many companies provide internships. Many offer stipend too depending on the academic level and kind of work that has been given.

Placement Experience

4.5

A lot of companies come to place students. For engineering, there are very good placement records. GPA greater than 6.5 are eligible for placements. The package range goes from 2.5 lac to 12 lac. They offer 100% placement in engineering but the eligibility criteria has to be met.

College Events

4.5

There are so many events going on almost every week. There are number of clubs for almost everything from poetry, oratory, dance, technical, etc. The Youth fest is much talked about because of the stars and singers that perform here every year. It's a promotional hub for celebrities for their upcoming movies. Stars like Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor and many more have come here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Engineering course is very expensive than rest of the courses. It costs you 1.41 lac per semester. Other courses like B.Ed costs just 20,000. So, it varies from course to course.

Exam Structure

Labs are a essential part and we have 3-4 labs every year. Lab work has to be taken seriously. You are not allowed to fool around in labs. Proper files are made and checked. Viva and a practical exam takes place at the end of the semester. Exam routine takes place in two parts. One are the tests which cover little course and the other is end semester final examinations.

Faculty

4

Faculty is highly qualified. Most of them are doctorates. They are fluent in English and wishes to teach you in your suitable mode of language. They are really helpful and caring. They do not miss lectures. They are pretty punctual and disciplined.

Placement Experience:

Integral University in the third of engineering asks us to take time out for placements training. Students who haven't done any internships are asked to do one or attend the workshops organized at the university. Thus in the final year, we are fully prepared and companies also are never disappointed as maximum students clear the interviews with ease.

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.
