Remarks
1 ) Most of them are ‘not so good’, firstly they don’t have good communication skills and also they lack technical expertise , I remember in first year a Prof. of Electrical Science, violated the law of conservation of energy!! trying to solve a simple problem. I took coaching in Delhi, and the difference in standard of teaching in the two places was quite apparent in first month of joining itself. But i have been led to believe that even IIT’s don’t have good faculties. Sure the professors have ‘so-called’ great accomplishments (Ph.D and stuff) but I personally don’t find sitting in most of the lectures much use full, (the standard of teaching is not very high), also in C lab we did nothing more than gcd, palindrome non-sense, and C++ was all about creating student employee class. On the other side, our Java Prof was quite enthusiastic about teaching and learning at the same time(that is really rare),his classes were quite interactive, also I would like to mention I haven’t met all Professors personally, but I would say from what I have experienced. The standards of faculties are simply aren't better that of any good private Engineering college. Overall - Faculties have good reputation, but are not rightly skilled to teach! (but exceptions exist every where).

Course Curriculum Overview
The term often refers specifically to a planned sequence of instruction, or to a view of the student's experiences in terms of the educator's or school's instructional goals. In a 2003 study Reys, Reys, Lapan, Holliday and Wasman refer to curriculum as a set of learning goals articulated across grades that outline the intended mathematics content and process goals at particular points in time throughout the K–12 school program.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, Only free internships are provided by college that too u need to arrange the internship day will just give u a letter. For that also they will ask money .They basically want the students to do summer internship wherever they want so that they can earn money by putting you into some internship where you need to pay money instead of viceversa, Overall internships are a bad experience.try to arrange your own internships and do it properly because you will be getting grades on that too.
Placement Experience
Overall 80 percent placed.Only good companies come for CSE and IT.Companies like accenture, infosys, wipro and cognizant were the mass recruiter. Delooited, Musigma were some of the good companies. Others were mainly startups with meager salary while the current placement season is due to end soon, the placement performance has been at one of the outstanding in the KIIT. The total job offers received so far exceeds 4500 which is in itself an all time high in the history of KIIT. With the placement percentage touching 91% so far and as the placement process is still very much active, the university is merrily poised to post 100% placement by the end of the current academic session. Last year 3627 job offers were received for 2848 registered eligible students (from six schools of the university) for campus placement. It has been an unfailing legacy with KIIT University to post 100% placement.

Campus Life
As an engineering student, the one thing that you can hopefully hope for is a good campus life. And kiit delivers on that front. The campus life at kiit is one of the most endearing aspects of the college. It rightfully boasts of a beautiful campus as long as you do not get in the way of the authorities. Amidst lush greenery and fancy footpaths, KIIT offers you evenings that you would most likely never forget. Within a few kilometres from the sea coast, the evening breeze after the sweltering afternoon Sun can be the best part of your day. The canteens are good, offer tasty and cheap food besides serving as an excellent spot to hangout. Hostels are comfortable, except the mess. You would be wasting your mess fee for all of those four years that you stay there, and there is really nothing that you can do about it, unless you opt not to live in the hostel. Restrictions are there in the first year. Entry timings are strictly imposed for both boys and girls. From second year onwards, the rules are relaxed for boys, but they are still strictly imposed for girls. Smoking and drinking is a norm and would happen around you in the boys' hostel unless they get caught. Hefty fines are imposed for offences as grave as alcohol consumption and as little as missing your classes. Though the latter happens only on surprise inspections. Basically there is price to be paid for every illegal luxury that you avail. So break the rules of you want to, but don't get caught. There are no restrictions on opposite gender interaction unless of course you're found snogging in public, which often happens. The locals and the staff might give you a disgusted look at times, even when you're quietly hanging out, but that's none of your business. What else Classes are air conditioned and so are the reading rooms and libraries. So there is comfort for the studious ones as well. Labs are really good, no matter which department you belong to. Pay your fee on time or there'll be fines. Classes are bunked often. But people are debarred from appearing in the exams in some departments due to low attendance. The KIIT road would be your daily recreational park. In short, KIIT has got the luxuries for the luxurious and serenity for the simple. It is an entire world in itself and you're a tiny little part of it.
