Remarks

Good aspects - It is the 2nd largest women's residential University which makes it different and thus creates a safe environment for them. The quality of education is too good, the staff and professors are really dedicated and helpful. The university's centre of attention is khadi students are bound to wear khadi clothes reason being to provide employment to nearby villagers. Bad aspects - The university is a little outdated like the college doesn't allow students to go out even with the permission of Guardians. The processing of admission is easy the candidates have to fill the form either online or offline then post it to banasthali after that they'll call the Candidates for an interview and you're done. Reasons for preferring banasthali - I chose to attend Banasthali Vidyapeeth because first of all it was my father's first preference for my higher education and I respect and appreciate his decision.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Law is a field which enhances your speaking and learning skills which attracted me the most, it is a professional and highly demanded course in today's world also you have every field open to find a suitable job. The faculty is too good. You'll meet highly professional professors which are experienced and helpful. There are different professors for law and the same goes with BA. The ratio of students are high in the law itself it is divided into three categories which are BA.LLB, BCOM.LLB and BBA.LLB make the ratio of students high. All the teachers of the law field are highly educated of which most of them hold the PHD and LLM (masters of law degree). All the teachers are very dedicated and helpful they clear each and every doubt of every student so yeah there good. In one sem we have 2 periodicals and then the final sem exam. If you study you'll pass that's it.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In law, we are suggested to do legal work such as research work, internships under advocates are a necessity in law students have to make a report of work done by then on internship period which they have to submit to the respected teachers.

Placement Experience

3

Final year students are eligible for placements. The highest package made - 3 lakh (as per my seniors) 50 percentage is allowed for placements again as per seniors. My plans after my degree are to prepare for the judiciary or for any kind of government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

In law, the total fee we pay for education is about 10 lakh (excluding hostel and mess fee) for 5 years. If we include hostel and mess fee it will go around 12 or 13 I'm not sure. For general category students, there is no such thing as scholarship and I being a general category student don't have any idea about all this.

Campus Life

4

The university organises 2 fest which is Dandiya night and food fest the whole University looks pretty that time they used to decorate the whole University with different kind of lightings in each and every college. Banasthali has 2 major libraries in common which have almost each and every book students look for also they have a separate library in each College. The infrastructure and amenities are not too fine. The university does not spend money on infrastructure which is disappointing. Banasthali has 5 fold activities also known as panch Mukhi Shiksha. The campus provides a huge gym that is cost-free in fact each and every sport are cost-free. The university has each and every sports and different coach for that. Such as swimming, tennis, cricket, horse riding, aviation etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The rooms are poor for first and second-year students they aren't well maintained. The walls are dirty, almirahs are poor with bad locks overall it's ridiculous. Meal is like 6 on 10 they use a lot of poor oil which makes the food tasteless and unhealthy. Whereas they kept providing fruits which are good. Restriction process is good strangers aren't allowed to come inside not even the male guardians are allowed to come inside the living area of students.

Interview Experience

4

After selecting the form the staff call people for an interview in which they ask a very easy and simple question like the intrest of students, how they got to know about Banasthali, what attracts them most about the university and etc. Candidates have to fill the form either online or offline once selected they will call students for interview. Secondly, there are some special provisions for the daughters of staff members of the University. The candidates don't need to prepare for these rounds the staff just ask simple question mentioned above.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

Placement Experience:

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education
