Remarks

I chose to attend this college because of several reasons: 1) I was able to see how involved the institute kept their students in processes as crucial as the admission process as well as Placement processes. 2) Environment at the college gives you the buzz of MBA life, you'd find yourself running errands at the oddest hours, and I feel that's what MBA is about, everything from fun to work here keeps you involved and makes you find a balance and teaches you how to manage multiple things. 3) Admission processes were convenient and the flow was maintained by the students only, that too of the first year. It was easygoing and a little different as they gave you a group task which I didn't come across in other college's admission processes. 4) it's been a year almost since I have joined this institute and I feel much more evolved and confident.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Being from an economics background and having a knack for numbers I chose to go for MBA in finance. The faculty of this institute, despite some small setbacks, is highly qualified. Practical knowledge is very much appreciated here and the mode of providing knowledge is a mixture of both indoor and outdoor knowledge. The faculty itself being a part of corporate life once gives you an insightful experience of the industry works. To add on to that, every second week you'd find an industry figure giving guest lecture on the topics that are very much required to prepare a student for industry, something going beyond the prescribed books.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I, myself got a SIP in Gurgaon. The opportunities with which students are provided are really good with both start-ups and established companies flourishing. The stipend is also given and incentives in other forms are provided too. 100% batch is provided with internships in the field of interest of all the students. It is a part of the curriculum and students have to report to an assigned faculty about the SIP process.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college achieves above 90% Placement policy and has been doing better and better every year. Companies that are brought in for the recruitment process are also increasing and a better reach has been achieved. The average package revolves around 8L this year with more than 70% of the batch already placed, with the target of placing all the students. The summer internship program starts from 2nd year, 4th term, which is mandatory for all the students, and companies start to visit the college from the month of October and the processes go on till all the students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

MBA itself being a highly expensive course, the institute charged relatively fewer fees and also reduced the fees by 2,00,000 during covid times along with refunds for not availing the hostel facilities. The return on the investment here seems to be good, as you find yourself recovering the fees you put in even by being able to badge an average package, which stands at 8L, within 3-4 years (depending upon how you manage your financials). The course provides you with scholarships too, the criteria being your entrance exam score as well as your academic performance in college.

Campus Life

4

This is the worst part, I haven't visited the college yet due to covid initially and some personal reasons upon when the college was opened, but despite being far away I have been able to derive some thrill and excitement of being in college far from college. There has been n number of college fests every month. The academic forums and core Committees of the institute keeps you engaged and keeps the college life to utmost exuberance by organizing fests every now and then.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility, despite not being there, and upon hearing it from the people who went to the college seems to be more than satisfactory. The level of cleanliness, hygiene are maintained above the normal level and during the covid times, strict policies are being followed. The mess food is also nice with the mess committee of the institute keeping the variety in food intact and upto date. Other food as well as daily necessities venture are also highly regarded and are maintained by student body only.

Interview Experience

4.5

There was a group activity in which 5 students were given a situation and were judged on their skills of management, presentation, aptitude, solution-driven, and teamwork skills. The interview round was also satisfactory, my interview revolved mostly around my CV and topics from my graduate studies.

Other Applied Colleges

BIMTECH | PGDM

Because the kind of environment I was looking for was more evolved at IMT

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
