My college experience

Due to not scoring well in JEE MAINS examination, I was made to this college but not university. Talking about Infrastructure, It posses separate buildings for all the Engineering Departments. It consists of RND labs, computer labs, Incubation Centers, Applied Science labs, Workshop for Mechanical Students. I have taken admission here on the 24th of Jan, 2021. Online due to the pandemic. The normal session starts in May. My counsellor was Mr Vinay Jha. With his help, I have taken admission here. The reason, why I preferred this college over others was that I was searching on google "Topmost colleges in Haryana". Then I came across collegedunia platform, where Geeta Engineering College was leading with a star rating of 8.7. So, finally reading through this site, I made my mind to join this college.

From an early age, I was eagerly interested in computers. My passion was that how OS worked, hacking, Networking So, I directly visited google and searched college for B Tech in computer science in engineering college, and with the help of collegedunia site, I got GEC.So, I came here as I previously mentioned. Faculty: over here are nice peers to students. They are very much friendly and nice. The HOD's of every department are very much helpful and friendly. For every subject minimum of 3 or 4 teachers are present over here. All the faculties have a Masters's degree in their subjects. According, to their nature, they throw a nice Impact on the students. They teach motivational lessons and are great speakers.

Internships are provided at our college at an ease. According to the student they are given chance to wether go out to off-campus for Internship[ programs or to do it in on-campus mode. Students according to there will join the following Internship programs and get an experience that how the market works. For all fields special paid and non-paid internships are available. Students are given certain projects and then have to perform them. According to the percentage work of their task, yey are given ith experience certificate or Salary in On-Campus mode. An off-campus company handles it.

In GEC, students have to work or you can say put input to get the best placements. as I can say that BTheh max package of this college gone to one of my senior at Byjus of 17LPA. One has to put effort to be placed. But you can also say that campus placement is very much easy. Companies like Wipro, Syska, Techburner. Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Byjus, Vivo, Samsung, and many more companies visit here with a nice package of above 7LPA. The profile grid for CSE students is software Engineers, developers, Analytical Developers Data Science analysts, and many more. Approx. 75% of Engineers get placed to Placements in nice companies. The max. package goes to 17.5 LPA. Average Package 4.5 LPA. After the B.Tech degree, I would like to take the campus placement and then I will give ILETS exam to go further and grow nuts in my career at their I would like to do PhD in Networking and To the topmost companies.

My course is B.Tech in Computer Science. It has a package of 1.6 LPA i.e 91,000 tuition fees and 73,000 hostel charge AC three-seater charges. [Other: 83000 for two-seater A.C, 63000 Non AC three Seater, 53000 four-seater non A.C]. The scholarship is for 5 % for Gen: Above 90%. Rajasthan board: Free. SC/ST have special scholarship programs. For Girls also special scholarship program. Special loan offers are also provided for the students, who are not eligible to pay the fees. After five years, one has to pay 9,700 monthly. On-campus one can join clubs for honing their skills. When one gets enough experience then he/she can work here.

Campus life is just full of opportunities. One has to hone their skills and work over them. Annual fest Sangri-La is made over here. Participants get a chance of 15% consultation in their attendance. This is conducted in April. The library consists of all books from all departments. One has to just read over it likewise for engineering, law, pharmacy, and diploma. All books, novels are present over here. Amenities like AC rooms, Smartboards all are provided in the rooms. 24*7 electricity is also provided. The clubs like the creativity club, in which I am a member, helps the student to hone their Digital, Affiliate Marketing skills. The Tech vision club helps the student to find their skills to be a programmer. I am a member of this club also. Special conference meeting rooms are provided for these clubs, where amazing teachers are provided.

I am currently in a three-seater room with full window AC. In the room, a bed with Mattress is provided. A single bed is provided to all students. A desk, chair is also provided. Fans are provided. 24*7 Water and Electric supplies are provided. WI-FI connection is also provided 24*7. The meal is in the MESS. 4 times meal is provided three-time meal and one time snacks 8 am-Breakfast: Parantha-Dahi, schedule changes every day. 1 pm-lunch: Rice, Chapatis(Vegetable, Dal) changes every day. 4 pm-snacks: uppam/fruit salad/aloo bonda/ and many more items with tea every day. For a hostel, one needs to fill hostel form issued by the registrar's office, provided by the Warden Sir. Playgrounds are also provided for Sports activity purposes.
