Remarks

Nmims Brand value and their connection in the Industry. In the admission, process the student has to appear for Nmat by Gmac exam for the Nmims University. If you score more than 190+ on the test you will be called for GD/PI round in Mumbai Campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is excellent and keeps on changing according to the market needs. In our final year, we have 14 Electives from which students have to Choose. We have 40% Weightage for the End term exams and 60% for the internals.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 1750000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is also good. Companies that come for the Final Placement also hire a student for an internship role. Some companies who do not offer stipend but it has good roles through which students get to learn a lot.

Placement Experience

Students get eligible at the starting of the Second Year. The placement is quite good. 90% of Students get placements from the campus. Many companies visit the campus such as Dell, HP, HCL, Infosys etc. The average package is around 8-9 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year there is a hike of 50 thousand rupees. Fees are around 10 lakh per annum which is Quite Expensive for the Students, hostel fee is compulsory for the First-year student. Students can also opt if he is day scholar.

Campus Life

We have a cultural fest on our campus. There are many clubs and Committees that organize the event throughout the year. Student gets the chance to Organize the Event a large scale such as Halloween, Admission process, Freshers Party etc.

Interview Experience

NMIMS Has his own exam which is NMAT BY GMAC. The student has to Score more than 190+ for getting an Interview Call and they do have Sectional Cut-offs. The topic for GD is General only, so a student who goes unprepared can also speak on it. 20 people sit for the GD round and then After that Interview process starts in which they ask questions from your SOP and CV.

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Great learning exposure

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities , diversity , good for networking and banglore is a corporate hub so it's getting easy for to experience corporate speakers.
Hostel facilities, food facilities for students for those who are living in hostels.
And how they prepare us for the corporate world .and the faculty ratio in 1 :12 over there so small batch size leads to better concentration on students .

Dislikes

Timings of hostels for food and go back to hostel time

Placement Experience:

So in the isme the placements are 100% there are lots of companies visited for mass hiring and the average package is about between the 8lacs and 9lacs from the 5 semester we are eligible for the campus placement

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

Overall a good experience

Likes

Faculty is very approachable very helpful
Diversity in culture and small batch size so that everyone gets the opportunity
On campus hostel is very convenient there are 50% girls so it’s save

80% attendance is mandatory very disciplined
Every time you have to wear formals and timing of hostel is very strict

In the isme we all getting the opportunity to interact with companies and in isme we have trimesters so from 5 semesters our placements will start and there are good numbers of companies comes for placements and they offer good amount of packages

I chose NMIMS Bangalore over KJ Somaiya from where i got an offer as well because NMIMS is a brand name, the batch size compared to KJ Somaiya is one third and the average placement is higher as well. One other reason would be the high cost of living in Mumbai. I applied to KJ Somaiya and TAPMI as well. Rejected KJ Somaiya and didn’t get shortlisted for TAPMI. I got rejected from TAPM, their shortlisting criteria completely changed and I couldn’t do anything to change it. The admission process for NMIMS Bangalore is basically by clearing the NMAT exam, I scored around 230 and the cut off for it was i think around 224. NMIMS only take NMAT for consideration. The overall admission process is smooth only. Once you get the offer letter you just have to upload your documents and they will upload them in sometime...Read More

Students have to appear for NMAT which is specially organized by NMIMS University and different campuses have different cutoffs for NMAT.
