Remarks

The course curriculum is very good and you can get knowledge of any interested area. Industrial visits are part of the curriculum. Admission is taken according to the norms of Kumaon University. Admission in BCA Mathematics in the 12th standard is just a part of academics.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are well qualified and all are masters in their respective subjects and NET qualified. Some of the faculty members are also pursuing a Ph. D. Exams are conducted by Kumaon University and the college has a record of 100% result in BCA for the last two years.

Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many internship programs are available for the students. The group has many MOUs with the government as well as private firms such as USERC, UCOST where students can take their internship. Many entrepreneurship projects were started by students of institutions and some were recognized and got awards at the national level.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are very good. MIET group has more than 75% placement records for last year. Many of the students are presently working in software companies like Tcs, Infosys, cognizant, tech Mahindra, c# corner.

Fees and Financial Aid

The nominal fee is designed according to the norms of the university. There will be scholarships for the students of sc, st, and obc category according to the Uttarakhand government norms. The fee will be the same for all three years of the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year i.e from 5th semester for engineering students . The university invites more than 150 companies every year. Some of the major recruiters of GEU, Dehradun are Samsung, Wipro, Axis Bank, Vodafone, HCL, Genpact, Syntel and IBM. The package depends on the course you have opted for , like for engineering students the average package this year was 8 lakhs and the maximum package was 48 lakhs whereas for BCA students the maximum package is 6-7 lakhs. Almost all the students get placed except for 1 or 2 . Even they get placed after some traning provided by the college. Currently I don't have any plans regarding future , I am just trying to make my present the best and then let's see how the future unfolds.

Remarks:

You'll get the fundamental pleasantries however don't keep your expectations high. There is uniform in the grounds with the exception of Wednesday. My group possibly the last bunch with full time uniform so that is up in the air. The library has grown up quickly. For the underlying year you'll get books which you can peruse however later on the correct reading material are not given by the library. You have to approach the instructor's for PDFs, PPTs and so forth. Workstation is must for making due here in UPES. You have to experience some futile online courses with week by week assignments. In the event that you are remaining in bidholi, at that point transport accommodation for late night won't be available.

About My College Expereince

Remarks:

Positive comment about college is the best faculty and environment for studies. The negative remark is that a much better can be done for job placements and internships provided by the college. Till now it is not up to its best. If it will get improved more students will get a chance to prove themselves. And some big MNC must be called for internships and company placements.

To be honest I didn't applied to any other colleges , I was just seeking a cheaper college to do BBA as every college in haldwani were affiliated to Kumaun University so o thought I could choose anyone , I considered Pal college as well side by side and filled the form on both of their sites and said to myself whoever calls first I'll get addmission there and I got a call from MIET so I went their. I haven't experienced other campus first hand but based on hearings I can say is MIET has potential if they fully utilise their land as most of the students are attracted but college campus such as pal has a great campus but the most important thing is how you present yourself in social media, as gen z are influenced more by it , if I show someone our college's insta handel and plan college's insta they are surely bound to get attracted their. College with good values

It was okay. We have nothing to boast about, and neither can anybody complain much about it because there were lots of opportunities. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Persistent, and Godrej, we're some of the notable companies to visit our campus this year.
