Entrance Preview
I got an interview call based on my score in the ATMA and CAT entrance test. There were two rounds of interview and each was an elimination round. Interview was psychometric and discussion based.
Course Curriculum Overview
Back in 2004 it was relevant with the current scenario then. The subjects like Labour laws and HRM had faculties who were from the industry and gave us a deep insight into the practical corporate world.
Internships Opportunities
Back in 2004 we had internship based on merit. I was placed with TYCO electronics in Pune. Shortlisting of candidates was on merit basis and finalization was based on personal interview with the company. However, I do not remember the stipend amount now.
Placement Experience
We did not have a full fledged placement cell then. We used to approach companies on our own. Assistance and references were provided by our professors.
College Events
Our college celebrated Annual day. It also organised various leadership programs, and hosted events with external speakers being invited. In addition it also organised events related to the environment and plantation of trees.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I do not remember the details of the fee structure but it was not very high. Then in 2002-2004, it was 60,000 rupees annually.
Exam Structure
Exam was conducted under University of Pune. Our personal level of preparation determined whether we were tensed or chilled. Questions were objective and subjective both. Emphasis was given on practical preparations and examples.
Faculty
The faculty was very good. Our course HOD Mr. Deven Dhanak was the best faculty memner we had. His approach was completly case study based learning. It led to brain storming, and discussions. Apaprt from that a lot of emphasis was given on presentations of various topics, which later came in very useful during my job.
