An overlook to DSNLU

To get into DSNLU one needs to appear for National level Exam, called CLAT which is conducted annually, for admission into top law Colleges (NLU). While filling the form you need to opt for the preferences to choose. Since my rank was coming into the ambit of DSNLU and lower rank NLUs that's why I choose DSNLU. It is really a good college.

For Undergraduate level of study, DSNLU provides B.A.L.L.B. hons. Course, which is of 5 years or 10 semesters. Total strength of the batch is 133 and the students are from all over India. Faculty is good and helping. One can ask their doubts to the faculty till 8 pm by any means you want to. Some faculty members are multiple PhD holders and are specialized in their particular fields. If you think of something then you can achieve it. The exam is neither too hard nor too easy. One can get a good score with a regular and centric practice.

The university offer internship off and on-campus both. The internship is offered in government offices, law firms, NGOs, Commissions, and legal institutions. Some of the internships are offered at MP judicial academy, Vidhi legal, SLSA and many more.

Placement is the main issue of the students opting for the college. There is a placement cell in the university. The placement starts from the 4th year and the university placement cell provides a better outlook for the students to explore themselves. The placement percentage is 90%. The average placement is of 6 lakh per annum.

The total fee including academic, accommodation, and mess is 2.35 Lakh Rupees only. The fees is subject to change. The Scholarship is available for Andhra Pradesh residents and a special waiver can be made on permission of the VC.

DSNLU has it's own library and all the books related to law, public policy, and research papers are available there. Apart from this, in this hardship, a digital library is also provided to the students. Since we are attending online classes therefore we have no info about offline classes and classroom amenities. The university has several societies which work on the personality development and skills of the students. Some societies are MAS, sports, Debate, etc. University has excellent infrastructure and is environment friendly. All the sports facilities are available in the university.

Hostel facility includes Accommodation and mess yearly. It is a double sharing hostel and is a comfortable one. The security arrangements are there in the hostel. The meals are provided according to the menu and the meals are healthy. The meals menu is made by mess society. The hostel is compulsory for all the students and is allowed automatically to the students by the university.
