My college experience

The most essential part of every college and which acts as an asset is the faculty and while considering this college the major evaluation goes to this only. The faculties are highly experienced, highly educated and most important they are collaborative and supportive too. The college provides enough study material that you don't even want to opt for something else. We also have great exposure during our International industrial visit to Dubai. Further, it aids in bridging the gap between theoretical training and practical learning and I personally think these kinds of Industrial trip has its own benefits in terms of grooming the Management students context. Coming towards the 3rd aspect so I personally opted for this college because I was getting the same stuff by paying less amount in comparison to other colleges. Students just judge and think that the colleges should have opted based on the location, but at last, what you are supposed to get from there is knowledge and experience.

I choose the course over MBA because in MBA we only work on the theory part and the content is not updated according to the requirement of the market. Faculties are highly qualified and experienced and their approach for teaching is blended that is they focus on theories as well as practical knowledge and experience. We have exams at the end of every trimester i.e the count of exams is 6 and in every trimester we have the assignments and another internal evaluation process like project reports etc.

In a situation like COVID where students were unable to go and do internships the college itself proving great opportunities for SIP in different subjects and also doing the mentoring with the help of various industry experts. We also perform one SIP project named "New Product Development of Popsicles". It's great learning while working on some project and simultaneously you got assistance from experts of that field only. We also receive the Business Standard certificates for the same and above that which's a great way to explore and apply knowledge in practice.

From the 4th-trimester companies start visiting campus, where some of the students also got the opportunity of pre-placement offer and this recruitment process will continue till the completion of the course. Some names of companies visited the campus like HDFC, JK, ITC, Jaro Education, XL Dynamics, Kotak Mahindra, Extramarks, Lohia, etc.

The overall fees for a full 2-year program are 6,30,000 only and there are separate criteria for scholarship where you should have a minimum percentage from 10th to Graduation, if you have that minimum %age so you will get the same as per policy. If you want to opt for a loan so college will also assist with an education loan and you can carry the same towards your program. Talking about placements and recruitment so the process generally starts in Sept and Oct till the completion of your program. You can also get and offered the pre-placement while in your program only.

We have different clubs for every subject and add some others are also there like Socio-Cultural Committee, Niche Club, and over and above we also got the opportunity where actress Miss Nayani Dixit teach us about liberal arts. We also have KLF (Kanpur Literature Festival) where many celebrities come and its a 2 days program, where we also have mouth-watering food stalls above that music, dance and full of enjoyable moments. We have our library where we get our books and other related stuff for study.

There is a PI round at the time of admission and the other criteria of having the mini grades in your 10th, 12th as well as Graduation. We can prepare for PI by simply updating us with current happenings and market conditions like business environment, digital world etc.
