I had given two entrance examinations AIEEE (Score-88) & CET (score-62) with which i choosed 20 colleges in the first round of counselling in which MET college was one of them. I got this college in first round as a choice and then i decided to study there as it was near to my home and it had very good infrastructure.

The course structure was nicely framed with detail syllabus for each consecutive semesters and scheduled keeping in mind the number of hours needed to finish each part of syllabus within a specified time so as to complete the objective of maintaining the norms/ specifications of the university. There was sufficient time for undergoing research starting from the third year with full support from the faculty side.

No, at that time it doesn't provide any internship. But it provides various certification courses like CATIA, ANSYS and AUTOCAD which can be added benifit to become industry-ready at the time of placements.

About 15-20 students got on-campus placements and few students gave exams like AMCAT and finally get off-campus placement. Some companies which came are BOSCH (package-8 lpa), TECH MAHINDRA (package-4 lpa), TATA MOTORS (package-4 lpa), L&T (package-3.5 lpa), etc..

Several technical events were organised during the month of january/february in each academic year like MET-0-RITE 2011, TECHFEST 2012, etc. At the end of each year cultural programmes with main focus on marathi culture took place in which big celebrities like Sanjay dutt participated.

The fee structure was low at the beginning but it was increased in the subsequent years from Rs.65000 to 70000 in second year and later to 75000 remaining years. It was quite feasible. The fees includes- exam fee-Rs.750, tuition fee-65,000, admission fee-500 , stationary fee-1500, dress fee-1500

Scholarship was only provided to sc/st students and those who were below poverty line. Still there was one scholarship for those students who were defence backgrounds and it was on a condition of securing atleast 55% per semester.

There was a fixed schedule for every class and subsequent batches were formed to conduct the practicals in labs. I remembered that i used to attend each and every lab session without missing. At the end of Every month a class test was scheduled and at the end of the semester the work load gets suddenly increased because of several vivas, practicals, file submissions and finally series of exams.

The faculty was intermediate to senior level. Some of the senior faculties had 20 years of experience while some completed their Phd before i passed out from the college. The senior level faculties not only boosted the moral of a student but also helped in career building while giving full knowledge about the subject with many helpful self-explanatory practical applications. The lower level faculties were atleast M.tech.
