Life at FORE

FORE School of Management has been working continuously to contribute leaders in today's global business environment which was evident in 2020 placements. With my XAT percentile of 91.2, the best colleges I had were FORE, TAPMI, GIM, KJ Somaiya, LBSIM and Welingkar. I chose FORE because it is at per when we'll compare it in terms of placements, faculties and curriculams. The admission process of FORE is quite simple and it consists of a round of Business quiz + WAC (Written Ability Test) followed by an Extempore, and Personal Interview. I used Collegedunia and Siksha.com to check the reviews of the college. One can also prefer Pagalguy to compare or to gain some insights about the college.

The course curriculum of the college is highly relevant and is revised on a regular basis to reflect current business developments, ensuring that students are industry-ready. Both theoretical and practical studies are part of the curriculum. Case Studies, Presentation, Research Studies, etc. are part of almost every day schedule. The faculties of the college are highly qualified and helpful towards the students. They have done their Doctorate and Masters from renowned institutions of India and abroad and most of them also have a good amount of industry experience which comes in handy while discussing case studies and their implications from a managerial point of view. Faculty is always there to help which makes it easier to perform well in the exams as all your queries get addressed.

The college does offer internship opportunities on campus with a number of startups and big companies coming to the campus to recruit. Profiles offered are digital marketing, market research, investment banking, sales, and many more. Some of the prominent recruiters are CRIF, GEP, ITC, Asian paints, Nestle, HSBC, etc. The highest stipend offered was for 100000 and it can also go a bit low but on average a decent package is offered.

There are a number of companies that visit the campus for placements offering diverse roles across HR, finance, marketing, etc. There is a minimum cap of 7L, only the companies offering more than 7L visit the campus for recruitment. FORE maintains a 100 percent placement record with the average package being 10.6L per annum and the highest package offered was around 30L. There are also some students who opt out of placement to carry on with their family business. Some of the prominent recruiters are:- Finance - CRIF, CRISIL, EVALUESERVE, HDFC, HSBC, ICICI bank, etc. Marketing - Nestle, Maruti Suzuki, ITC, Signify, etc. IT - Accenture, Infosys, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Capgemini, etc.

The fees at FORE is 1498000, which increases every year. The fees were supposed to increase this year but they didn't due to COVID-19. The fees also include an international immersion program where students are sent to Singapore. The college offers a number of scholarships for each course, one of the scholarships offered is means-cum-merit scholarship. The number of opportunities is decent as the college is located in the heart of Delhi. The opportunities are there across diverse domains offering a number of roles and the stipends are also decent. The companies that come to campus for recruitment are a mix of startups and big companies.

There are a number of committees at FORE for different purposes like the FSCD-Sports committee, FCD-placement committee, FAN- for Alumni network, and many more. These committees organize various competitions in their respective expertise. Also, an annual event called Genesis takes place where all the committees participate and organize competitions and various activities. The classrooms are also very well equipped with facilities for enhanced learning.
